There is a large amount of players who hijack the game

I don't get it, but there seems to be a sudden increase of players who adopt the playing style of "I am the game, the other 9 does not matter, if you cannot follow it your game is done. Enjoy the 4v5". I'm really tired of this since I am not allowed to play my own game and being reduced to be a slave for this player. I've even seen WHOLE TEAM quitting games recently when it went too far so all other 4 of us can leave this player alone.

There is an sudden alarming rate of players that make ranked games really trivial that allies will rather quit rather than playing with these people. I don't get why, but it seems its after the positional que incident.

Tbh all those "you have to play the carry" coaches are (partially) to blame.

They basically instill one of two things into your head:

  1. if youre not playing some kind of carry, you wont climb

  2. if its not a guarunteed win youre just wasting your time

So people rage quit once things go south for them without realizing or gauging how winnable the game actually is.

Just check, if whatever he says/does is good for your team, go for it, otherwise let him go. If he leaves, better, he won't take cs and gold in vain
