Are Toxic Players Still Being Punished?

Hey all, Just writing as a concerned, long time, player. Recently I've had some pretty damn toxic player in my games at my level of ranked play (pretty standard at my elo). For the past two months, I've reported some pretty negative and toxic behavior, ranging from racism, homophobic remarks, dark-sexual player names, and even death threats to some of my teammates and friends. Now, I'm addressing this concern, because I have not received a single "thank you for your report, this player has been punished" notification during all this time. So, are players being punished still, or are numbers so low that these player are allowed to run rampart now? Maybe you removed letting us know that players are being punished?

Some serious toxic behavior and remarks have been reported; some borderline hate crime stuff. Whats the deal? Should I even bother continuing with reporting this behavior?

Thanks and very respectfully,

A longtime and concerned League of Legends Player

Players are still being punished, the notification system is notoriously programmed to suck at giving notifications.

Yeah haven't you seen them on this board with their chatlogs?

They do get punished, just the feedback sucks.

What you need is something like Monthly Report Cards.

Yes, they are being punished. 3 days ago I got this Fiora( who was in a 3 man queue) banned for saying " Kill Yourself" to me. I didn't say anything to her and at the end, I sent riot a support ticket about her and boom she got banned.

That is the thing man, they added a report tribunal for a reason. I don't want to have to report them using a system in the game, report them here, report them via a ticket, and a damn email. What is the point of the report system then if players aren't getting punished by it, and letting us reporters know that 1) the system is working, and 2) that a toxic member of the community has been dealt with.

There was a player in my game the other day that was talking about lynching a black player on my team. He was reported and my teammate took steps further, beyond the game, to make sure this player wouldn't speak like this again; however, neither of us has received any word back from Riot games. What the hell is the point of the system if we don't know that Riot is dealing with and cleaning up it community? How do we know it is working and that the job is being done?
