[Rant] Odyssey Onsault Mode Hostage rooms

Every room I go into there is someone trying to do the mission while my issue is that I just need to win one game. Yet time after time of playing with handicaps, have i found myself losing so often. So I have to beg for a game with full augs and best characters only to be met with grieffers and people trolling because they got hostage into a game that they don't like. Someone probably made a similar post already but man is it so aggravating to try to get someone to understand I want to play full augments. I wish riot made custom lobbies for that shit at least because I am getting very tilted trying to play this game mode regularly.

so you're mad that 4 random people each have their own goals and wont do what you want them to do?

have you tried posting in gameplay looking for people of similar mind instead of getting upset that people dont do what you want

4 augments (which is the one that gives you the juicy Ziggs skin shard) is really not that difficult. The first time I beat Onslaught was with 4 augments. Depending on the Champion, you really only need two or three augments to be OP enough to make it through Onslaught, the rest is just bonus. Like Yasuo, for example, really only needs Tempest and Wandering to do his job. The last two are preference.

Hell, sometimes 5 of the same character is broken, like in the case of Yasuo and possibly Jinx. I do get what you are saying though. Sometimes I just want to play Sona and have my ult fill the screen several times over. While with Star Guardian, I thought it was annoying to have to find a premade, it at least avoided issues like this. The augment limitation really could have been reduced to a personal mission rather than a team mission, that way the team missions made sense: 5 Yasuos, 5 Jinxs, whatever, that requires team coordination. If they thought that would make it too easy, have the person win a few games with only 2 augments or something.

Last night some moron tried to remake cause me and my friend didn't want to do his 2 aug challenge. So I made the game last 20 minutes with just me and my friend vs the bots while telling him "you could have been in another 2 games if you just dodged idiot" [sg-miss-fortune]

There really is no "best characters". A 5 jinx comp can do as well as a mixed comp. You have to take in account that not everyone is as good on Yasuo as some others, and they'll end up feeding alot, like in your SR games.

The lesser augments do make it a handicap though.

I think best team to simply beat onslaught with 5 augments is 5 yasuo. Because you are invulnerable half the time in the last fight so you can't die. Haven't tried 5 jinxes tho.

This could simply be avoided if the augment missions were made only for 5 premades... And there's no excuse of ''I have no friends'' since you can always find people on discord or here at the Boards who would agree to join a party for the missions

If people want to do aug missions, just tell them ok, all go jinx. 5 man jinx is by far the easiest aug mission wins, other than the ziggs cheese strat for 5 ziggs, but that requires bare min 3 augs.
