Why is this acceptable by the community? Its outright unsportsmanship conduct

I'm talking about players picking a champion for the first time in ranked or when they don't even have 10 games with that champion. There is a mode called normals where players can play champions they are learning and so they can bring them to ranked and don't try them in ranked and RUIN other players games just because you felt like trying a champ or just because you recently played a game or two in normals you think that's enough for you to bring it to a ranked game when its not.

I just had a game where our mid Galio went 1/9 with 7k gold and 110 CS in a 30 minute game, silver elo. Even for silver elo that's very poor stats, believe it or not, so I checked this guys op.gg and surprise surprise this guy has 5 games with Galio in season 8, and this was hes 1st game with galio this season.

With only 5 games on Galio VS a lvl 5 mastery Cassiopeia no wonder he got fucking destroyed in the lane. And the rest of us have to put up with this? why? why is it acceptable by the community for players to be doing this in ranked and literally made 4 players lose or have a huge chance of losing just because you feel like playing a champion you more than clearly don't know how to use decently.

Sometimes playing poorly but a champion that synergizes with the team comp is more important than getting a good kda.

I agree. I don't enjoy when people do that. Sure, you might actually end up doing good for numerous reasons, but at the end of the day, you're not familiar with your champion's strategies, alternative build paths and such. You're basically putting your team at a disadvantage from the get-go.

Just remember this when you get someone autofilled support but can't use any of the "traditional" support due to lack of games.

Because 1. THERE ARE PEOPLE WITH SECONDARY ACCOUNTS. If I have an account with 500K on Vayne, and I make a fresh account, buy Vayne, level up, and play Ranked, is this a reason to punish me? and 2. Maybe I am a 500K Vayne main and I try Ashe for the first time. I main the most skill-reliant ADC in the whole game, I know how to kite, so yeeeea, I will definitely suck at playing literally the easiest ADC with the easiest kit.

In conclusion, you have no way of estimating if that person will suck or not.

Had an idea but its ruined by the fact that autofill exists... so nevermind. Sucks when that happens though. People who do that are a tad moronic. Their punishment is losing LP. Unfortunately, yes they take you down with em if theyre on your team. (Not saying you CANT perform well first time)

Nah nah nah, you try them out in ranked because in normals people dont take it seriously. So it gives you a false read on how well you do.

Some of us multiple accounts. I've played Kindred so much on my 2nd account that shes one of my most played champions. I dont even own her on this account, and this account is from season 4. Just accept bad games happen an the player would have likely fed regardless of his drafted pick.

I mean I'm silver and I played a game of Galio for the first time in ranked simply because I felt it fit our team comp. I didn't do GREAT but I didn't do terrible either. We still ended up losing but that was simply because their team's late game outscaled ours REALLY hard.
