Player told me to kill myself, what should I do?

I was playing a game with a summoner [redacted], and he told me to kill myself in game. I laughed it off and told him "your mom would miss me too much", then after game he added me as a friend and told me to kill myself along with calling me a "subhuman f*ck". Please reference Exhibit A.

p.s. I won't kill myself. Especially not because some troubled stranger online told me so. I just think Riot should rid itself of this player, would make the community a little better (needs a lot of work already).

For all those saying Riot doesn't care since that person sent me that after I accepted a friend request, let me quote what support said. Whether they do something about it or not I don't really care since it is in their hands now.

I'm sorry to hear that [redacted] was harassing you in chat. Telling others to kill themselves is something we have zero tolerance for and is never acceptable in any situation. With that in mind. I do believe an investigation is warranted here. I will go ahead and look into them for you and will take action on their account based on my findings. Sadly, I won't be able to share any details with you about my investigation, or any actions taken on their account as we do need to respect each player's privacy. However, I do appreciate you bringing it to my attention and sending me that screenshot. In the future, I would highly recommend that you don't add strangers to your friend's list as chances are they are just trying to get a negative reaction out of you or send you spam or phishing links. In order to avoid potential harassment in PMs, I personally only accept friend requests from players if I had a positive interaction with them in game, or I know them IRL. If you have any other questions or have other information for me that I can use for my investigation please feel free to send them my way as I am here to help.

You can submit tickets for this kind of thing. Silent Gravity is actually just wrong.

Dude looks for drama and then complains about it on Boards lmao

If he flamed you in-game, mute and report. Dont go out of your way to give him more chances to flame you because it's idiotic and at that point no1 will have any sympathy for you.

You added him as a friend. They only sent a request.

Because you publicly declared that you were friends with them, and desired unrestricted communication with them, Riot is not going to intervene.

Don't accept friend request from people who were not friendly to you.

Edit to address your edit:

The IFS does not send notifications when an account is manually punished. That was from their ingame behavior, and your post-game report.

Ignore what everyone else said and just submit a support ticket and see what happens. This whole comment section is a shitshow.

Please remove the link & censor the name in your screenshots as we have a "no name and shame" rule on boards.
