Saying KYS (Kill Youself) is NOT ACCEPTABLE

I encounter more and more frequently players who whimsically use this term. I can handle the normal rage, being called an idiot, retard, etc. But having personal experiences with loved ones who have actually committed suicide, this one really pushes my buttons. IT IS NOT OK TO TELL SOMEONE TO KILL THEMSELF. It is a VERY serious thing to say and I think the punishment should reflect that. RIOT, PLEASE HEAR ME- toxicity is one thing, but this is a whole new level and deserves to be treated as such.

I ask that you permanently ban anyone who exhibits this behavior. What if some young person feels so badly that they actually do it? When I point this out, it's often met with: "good, I hope they do it, I'm serious." It makes my skin crawl that this younger generation actually thinks it's ok to say things like this. PLEASE RIOT, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. Lead by example. Telling a fellow human being to take their own life over a video game makes me so sad that I don't even have the words to express my grief. IT IS NOT OK.

If you care at all about the League Community please respond to this at the very least, even if you don't have an immediate solution. It would really mean a lot. Thank you.

I gave your post a like, because I agree it's not a good thing. However your** hypocrisy** kind of pushes MY buttons. I find it oddly amusing that you find other things that don't exactly relate to you personally offensive and you have no worries with those things, but as soon as it offends you. "Oh no that shouldn't be allowed to be said"

What really you should be advocating for is ANY form of harmful words whether that be Racism or Belittling or Suicide jokes or Bomb jokes. Instead you took a very low road in only condemning the acts that offend you personally when in fact those other words probably affect a lot of other people personally as well.

You can't. People say it all the time and I do to and I could care less. If they tell me to kys or I fkd your mom or whatever.

Btw I do have extreme depression and suicidal thoughts l, believe me or not.

Also 5 perm bans and counting let's go! Perm bans do nothing. And it isn't illegal where I live Maybe unless they actually do do it. Which they won't.

Honestly, regardless of what the discussion of the time being, I always immediately get offended when someone tell another to "kys".

It's just brutally uncalled for and unnecessary. It is not acceptable to just throw that word around.

to everyone who thinks someone saying KYS is not a form of toxicity is really missing their heads, or its not screwed in right. What people dont get is that some players have dealt with Suicide and friends n family either suicide and what not, Telling some1 to go KYS should be an automatic ban period.

Its not to let this wait and then shit pops all over the news where people have been suiciding themselves due to a game or cause of other ignorant fucktards. Personally there is no lvling field for such astrocity in the game. Itll come to happen one day, and when it hits the news, Riot is gonna be getting a phat lawsuit over it and its only then, and i mean only then when they're gonna change their system so no one can say that kind of offensive context.

People rage so much in game they cant control themselves and sometimes they dont see how it could affect sum1 in real life.

Before shit like this escalates, RIOT needs to understand the lvl of intensity and hate those player feel in regards to those hidious comments, its uncalled for, it dont belong in the game, and if it persist, then some1 is gonna be put the blame on. People always act before they think and they need to realise that alot more people goes through suicide related topics than they know...so it dont give them a reaosn to say such a thing.
