Reports Reset after a 2 week suspension?

Hai, this is my first time on the forum and Im hoping someone can help me. How exactly does the tribunal work when it comes to something like this. Do your reports roll over after a suspension? More specifically, is it possible and correct for someone to get a perma ban 1 day after a 2 week suspension. Ive not seen any current threads regarding this and could really use some insight. Seems to me that defeats the purpose of the 2 week ban.

Well after I got the account back I played 13 games total. I saw chat logs from 2 of those games where my behavior was undeniably "Negative" and I had been reported. Im certainly not trying to make excuses for myself. But I did make an effort to not be verbally abusive or to attack anyone personally. The games were bad for me so it was pretty typical "team is too heavy" or "gg team cant group worth shit." I felt I had made an effort and intended on working on it further in the future, Was even well on my way to being convinced to just drag my chat box off the screen. Riot didn't share my feelings. I respect that and Im not arguing it. I just had remembered hearing somewhere that after a disciplinary action had taken place, reports reset to give the player time to screw up again or improve.

You need to exhibit good behavior for 3 months after a punishment in order to drop down a punishment tier.

If you come off a 14 game suspension and get reported a bunch anywhere within the first 3 months, you'll be perma banned.

If you come off a 14 game suspension and exhibit good behavior for 3months, then get reported a bunch, you'll be 14 day suspended again.

If you come off a 14 game suspension and wish to drop all the way down to the lightest punishments again (chat restriction) you need to exhibit good behavior for 9 consecutive months I believe.

Alright, Thanks. I appreciate the help. Apparently in that time span, even being reported for 2 games is unacceptable and will cost you your account permanently. Even if you thought you were making a legitimate effort to be less toxic during a bad game. Again, thanks for all the help.

It's possible, it would depend on the transgressions of the two games.

The other guys explained how punishment tiers work, but I don't think they explained what you were asking.

No, your record is not erased after every punishment. If you are punished then you will be on thin ice and close to the next. This is because typically you are punished for poor behavior in a percentage of your games, not really the total number.

Say you are reported (valid reports) for 10 games. If you only played 10 games that means you have a 100% report rate and are very likely to get punished. If you are reported for 10 games but played 1000, that is only a 1% report rate and nothing will happen to you (except in extreme circumstances).

This means you need to play a lot of games without getting valid reports to drop that percentage. If you were punished for 10/10 reported games, coming right out and making it 11/11 is really pushing it.

no. Once you are identified as requiring special attention, you should be on your best behavior in order to prove that you can be trusted to re-enter the league community as a productive positive member of league society.

It's like saying that once you go to jail for your first offense of drunk driving, your police record should be purged.

The current system works this way in the following punishments.

10 game chat restriction 25 game chat restriction 14 day ban permaban.

You can move down in tiers of punishmet. It takes 3 months to move down 1 tier. If you were say at a 14 day ban, it would take you 6 months to move down to a "normal" status.

It is possible to get permabanned after 1 game after your 14 day ban.
