One Bad Game = Four Hundred Games

I play about 4 games a day. I've played around 600 games this season if you count rotating modes. I got chat restricted in preseason. I just now got honor level 1, and a SINGLE bad game, in which I didn't even call anybody names and was only defending myself from getting harassed in chat, and I'm back to honor level zero. Why does it take hundreds of apon hundreds of good games to equate one bad one? Its one thing if you're telling players to kill themselves or using racial slurs, but those two things currently have an identical punishment and recovery time as "leave me alone, fuck off." or simply "You're boosted".

The system needs some tweaking.

It doesn't seem like you're improving very well.

The less toxic you are the faster you level up your honor score. Its not the fact that you've binged 400 honors, you've probably harrassed or said some things that the system has picked up and marked on you, thus slowing your progression.

You dont get chat restricted for one game unless its a brand new account. If you get hit for a single game, its for zero tolerance reasons, which is a 14 day.

Chances are, you were mildly toxic often, and eventually it got pushed over what riot deems acceptable.

Cause its honor reset. That''s that way it's suppose to work when you're toxic. The honor rewards are the incentive to behave. The penalties are the punishment when you don't. Seems straightforward to me.

The honor system isn't suppose to be a way for everyone to get end of season extras.

Unless your defense in chat was something along the lines of "Stop typing" followed by muting them, then you likely gone to far. Since you did not post your chat log I can only guess what you may or may not of said. but your not allowed to defend your self in chat. You mute them and report them after the game.

So you either said something bad enough to give you the chat restriction in one game. Or you have had a more then a few games where you were slightly toxic and this game finally pushed it to punishing you.

The fact you seem to be stuck at honor level 1 for a long time, tells me that you say slightly toxic things quite a few games. Cause if you are only slightly toxic, get reported, and that report is valid but not bad enough to invoke a punishment. it will slow down or halt your honor progression for an undefined amount of time.

A great reminder you did something wrong. I like it.

Honorable = not even making a case for yourself when people flame the daylights out of you.
