Ideas to fix some toxicity in league, riot employee recommended i put it here.

Aight so this was basically a support ticket I put to riot and the employee said this would be a good place to start discussion about it. Don't mind the first part about the visual bug, that's already being worked on, but I figured I would put the whole post here. basically putting 2 tickets in one because they are both things id like to discuss. 1- Azir visual glitch with his w e q combo where when q is cast the last second before reaching the sand soldier with e, it shows initially that Azir does not follow the soldier, but then the animation ends and he is with the soldier. This has been happening in many of my games on multiple PCs, so it isn't a problem on my side, and ruins quite a few combos I try to pull off. Id appreciate a little look into that, and maybe a little buff to make my day ;). 2- Alright this is the part that has been making me want to participate in ranked less and less. My goal in ranked is to of course show what I can do as a player and get to where I should by playing games and communicating with a team. But recently it seems impossible to communicate with a team, as any mistake instantly tilts everyone involved and results in In fighting and eventually a game loss because people cant keep their mouths shut. Also recently in a promo game to gold, which is quite the big deal for a noob like me, I had a support leave lane due to these arguments and the adc sell all of their items for dark seals then afk. Needless to say that game was a mess and ended before the 20 minute mark, even though I did relatively well and top was staying strong too. This makes the game increasingly less fun to grind because I feel like im not losing games to the enemies outskilling us, but my teams losing to themselves. I have some suggestions to fix this and I would like to hear what you think about some of them. A. Game specific chat bans in which when a player uses a 'trigger word or phrase' in game they are instantly removed from the ability to chat for the rest of the game, to prevent further tilting of the other players. B. Permanent chat bans on accounts. This idea came to me because I feel like permanently banning people from playing the game isn't actually going to stop them from playing, as I have multiple friends who have gotten banned and just restarted with new accounts. This doesn't stop the problem of toxicity, and seemingly serves to amplify it, as people feel immune to the system. However the implementation of a permanent chat restrict or even permanent chat ban would keep the toxic players from tilting everyone else while also keeping them on the same account so that they don't switch to new accounts with a clean honor slate and ruin more people's games with their behavior. This would also make more people happy with the ban system, and will be more effective overall. C. Harsher punishments for AFKs who are able to be identified as "tilt afks" and not having to leave because of real life issues. When it comes to afking because you are angry at the game, it is fun ruining for everyone in the game. It is understandable however for people who just have to leave because of unforeseen circumstances in the real world. But if one can be identified to leave just because they were angry, harsher restrictions and punishments should be put on them such as a seasonal ranked ban, or much higher low priority queue times upwards of an hour. Again if certain triggers can be put into in game chat to find out when an afk is tilt induced, this can weed out a certain type of player and prevent them from ruining the rest of the communities experience, especially in ranked queues. D. This is probably the least plausible of the ideas given but maybe putting forgiveness on players who played on teams with afks or anyone who is punished for unsportsmanlike behavior such as a small refund of LP not worth a full game of course but about 10 or so to make them feel better about the unfun gaming experience they just had. I feel like this would encourage more players to join the ranked queue and get the game flowing stronger than ever. Alright so that's basically everything and its expected that you wont put most of these ideas into the game but at least take them for strong consideration to make the season 9 ranked experience stronger than any others before. Thank you for your time -Lyite

I hope you understand that the "riot employee" told you to post this here because they don't want to deal with it right.

People here are mainly volunteers, trolls, children throwing a tandrum, and salt bottles.

I think it would be a step in the right direction, maybe as an addition, if people consistently do these in ranked then Perma ban them from ranked for that season and enough seasons banned earns a Perma ranked ban.

Sorry about these degenerates downvoting you they downvote anything that doesnt agree with riot. I think the ban from the rest of the game after using a trigger word and permanently suspending chat is a good idea. Coming from a person with 9 permanently banned accounts all ranked doesnt affect me I just make another accounts and continue to play.

A. This ruins 5 man queue chat. The only way this type of system would work is if it functioned luke the language filter to instantly identify and block words. As such it would be impractical since it wouldn't be able to handle more snide comments to tilt people.

B. Back in tribunal days, it was possible to get an inifinite scaling chat restriction. You know what supposedly happened, according to Riot? An increase of gameplay toxicity, aka trolling/inting. "Then ban the people who troll/int." Oh golly gee, why hasn't that idea been thought of? Gameplay offenses are usually more difficult to confirm in some cases; even soke blatant ones can take upwards of weeks to handle. Unless, of course, you have managed to design a system to detect such behavior with 99.7% accuracy.

C. Maybe initial success, then people tilting start going "sorry. Emergency" alt f4 and now goes normal lpq. Hell, what if I'm 0/5 and my internet drops/powrr outage? Am I going to get penalized for tilt quit? What if I'm a silent tilter?

D. Plausible, but you have to also be willing to not get full lp if you win a game that had an afk. Afterall, if I'm not losing 15-20 lp for losing a game with an afk; why should I get 15-30 lp for winning a game with one on the other team?
