Is Riot Dealing With Tocixity In The Game ?

Hey everyone, I'm going to quit League for a while because I feel the game is giving me the opposite of what I installed it for - it stresses me out instead of relieving stress from everyday life. It's so unbearable that I'm no longer willing to spend money on this game, it's not enjoyable at all. I like playing ranked because I'm a competitive person and 2/3 of my games are full of toxic teammates. I want to ask you guys something. The game has been out for about 10 years now, why hasn't Riot found a way to deal with this issue ? Do they simply not want to punish toxic players because they are their biggest revenue source ? Thanks!

If you're expecting 100% of shitty people to get banned at a rate or frequency that pleases you, then it might be best for you to spend your free time on a game that doesn't stress you out.

There are a dozen "WTF BANNED FOR THIS??!?" posts here daily, so people are getting punished. Let me ask you this - when you go fishing, do you catch ALL the fish?

You have to understand what is different in League and other games and why community might be more "toxic".

Main reason people overlook here is - You are stuck in game with 4 more people for at least 15min. But nobody goes ff 5/5 in 15th min. So you are generally stuck in game for at least 20-40min + lobby time.

If you see people are toxic and you don't enjoy game, you can't just quit it because you will be punished, yet for them to be punished takes a lot more.

I have personally never had account banned, but have friends that did their 14 days and even perma bans.

So yeah. I think biggest problem here is that you MUST play game no matter how somebody is acting in game.

riot doesn't care how much money people spend on the game. toxic is toxic and toxic players are usually banned. just look at the boards for daily posts proving this

regardless what riot does, toxicity will still be a thing, much like the police and the laws not guaranteeing the abolishment of crime itself
