Imaqtpie/IWDominate pulling a Tyler1

around 12 minutes in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCUlrLOpw6M

both imaqtpie and IWDominate "run it down mid" for "tyler1". I'm a fan of both these former pro players and it was shocking to see someone mimick the behavior of tyler1, a player that is permanently banned by RIOT. I understand that ezreal is trolling (but will go unpunished cause RIOT is bad at detecting intentional trolling) and making it miserable for imaqtpie but I also thought Riot doesn't condone "tit for tat" behavior. Considering that Ahri wanted to play cause she was in her promos, Riot policies will clearly indicate that the other players should be trying to win as well and yet all the "support" ezreal is trolling, the jungler and adc is inting down mid.

I really couldn't care how much imaqtpie and IWdominate run it down mid cause im a fan of their videos but when IWdominate posts a video publicly where they int while ezreal is trolling and NO ONE gets punished, it makes me lose faith of this riot justice system. It's basically letting toxic people know that they can run it down mid once in a while without getting any punishment.

What do other people think of this video? How can anyone have faith in riot dishing out correct bans when you see people streaming videos of a trolling support and two people feeding down mid lane?

You have to factor in the frequency of negative behaviour when evaluating these situations.

While this is negative behaviour from imaqtpie and IWDominate, they have fairly clean records and a long history of positive (or at the very least, neutral) behaviour behind them to mitigate it. So long as they don't behave as such on anything resembling a consistent basis, then there is no true reason to punish them.

Tyler1 was consistent enough to get ~18 accounts permanently banned. He had a long, long history of consistently negative and toxic behaviour behind him for every one of those bans which is enough to require a more severe response.

Should they have behaved as such? No.

Does a single isolated instance of negative behaviour mean they should suffer a similar punishment as Tyler1? Also no.

I think you take the actions of a video game WAY too seriously.

Tyler1 is a notoriously toxic player. Imaqtpie is in general a nice guy with probably a fairly clean record. One troll game is not going to get him banned. The banning system does not suspend people based on one isolated incident

Well, Youtubers shouldn't get any favor just because they are famous, but I'm not convinced they should get a different treatment either. If the "standard" system didn't punish them, it would be harsh to punish them 'cause they published a video on Youtube :s

On the other hand, there is a line of argument that, since they are public figures, they should set an example and be held to a higher standard. I'm not entirely convinced about it, but I understand that some people can defend this point of view.

it's pretty simple. the guys who can report in that game are the players in that particular game:). They can do w/e they want, as long as their team agrees with this:)..get it?
