Riot encourages hostage situations in 3v5s by not allowing a 2 person vote for surrender

I got held hostage in a 30 min game recently when 2 people rage quit before 8 min. Riot is 100% to blame for the hostage situation. After 20 min if it there are only 3 people on your team 1 person can deny the surrender. Apparently there is a bug in the code that says 3 people voting yes are required for surrender. I can only guess that it is a bug because the alternative - that Riot WANTS to enable 1 person to hold their team hostage - is unbelievable.

Fix this Riot. In a 3v5 please let 2 people call the surrender after 20 min.

That's very unfortunate. In 10 years of playing this game, I can count on one hand the number of times I've had to deal with this specific situation.

No. You can leave the game too. Leaverbuster isn't going to punish you for leaving one game.

What is with you people that make statements like this as if Riot is out to get you? The persecution complex isn't flattering. Look, you had an unfortunate thing happen in one game. Next time just quit and save yourself the turmoil.

That is just how super majority is programmed into the mechanic. You have to hit a 75% threshold for agreement. It is frustrating in 3v3s too but gotta deal with it.

I will be honest, I lost a rank because my yasuo rage quit after a failed gank and my xayah ran in circles in spawn because she wanted to avoid leavebuster because we refused to surrender a RANKED GAME. Both players are why people need to continue spanking their kids with paddles. The only thing we agree with is that having fuckers leave mid game just because they're unhappy with how the game is going is a problem, and a serious one at that.

There's no bug. The system in place requires at least 70% of in game players vote yes on a surrender. This is common knowledge.

This is actually Riot encouraging players to say "no, we can make a comeback" and actually doing it. I have played many games when a teammate loses connection and have won. If you surrender, you ensure a loss, and many people don't want to lose LP, promos, and/or rank. If you stay in the game, you always have at least a slight chance to win, plus doing so makes you feel like a badass (if only for a while)

No need.
