Hello friends. I don't know how to give you background on this so I'll just cut right to the chase. This isn't the first time I got punished for what riot considers "flaming", before, I was more than happy to be punished for my actions and toxicity, but this right here is a prime example of a broken punishment system. I want you all to look at this and tell me how does this justify getting a chat restriction. Note how I didn't insult anyone other than throwing the word "trash" a couple times, which I would not really consider an offensive word, let alone a ban worthy offence.

I started highlighting the lines that were bad but I just ended up copying 90% of it so:

stop harassing your teammates, giving up, telling others to report (1 report is the same as 9), telling people to go back to minecraft, w/e

all your chat is negative and you do not use it for its intended purpose whatsoever

You spent almost the entire log insulting your teammates. Why is getting banned over this so surprising to you?

Calling someone trash is literally offending them. Offensive doesnt mean politically correct. Offensive is when you insult someone. Trash is OBVIOUSLY an insult. So yeah, riots rules say dont insult anyone, you did that, you got the punishment. Seems right to me man. Also blaming people and just generally arguing over bullshit during the game is against the rules. Use mute if youre offended by flame, instead of flaming back. That just leaves you open to getting validly reported.

i don't think for riot it even matters if you've offended someone or if your in the right or wrong, the system is so biased towards being a #metoo white knight that you literally just can't say anything anymore. I lost my season rewards because of a chat restriction back in may, and i wont be able to get back to honor level 2(required to get season rewards) by the end of the season because of how hard and troll the honor system is.

My 10 game chat restriction(yes a 10 game chat restriction lost me my season rewards, LMFAO), was based on two games worth of chat logs, that showed me being "negative" because i was complaining about the two people(game 1 cait/game 2 sona) who in each game, left lane, and started suiciding in the enemy jg, and reffered to me as trash for not helping them bot lane.

There was no profanity except in the post game chat where i told the cait to fuck off because she started flaming me and calling me way worse stuff than that.

So because of that( responding to people that actually legitimately and with proof, forced me to lose) i was dropped to honor 0, honor was looked, and i spent 3 weeks to unlock it, and then by august i was like checkpoint 2 of 3 towards getting honor 1. So it's not even possible to get back to honor level 2, im still just sitting right at honor level 1 right now.... I probably wont get honor 2 until january if even longer then that.

I can tell you this, next season, im just going to adopt the /mute all thing and start doing that every game. I don't believe what you said was chat restriction worthy, but in the case of riot, what you said was negative. and clearly any negativity in any format will result in an instant slap in the face from them.

You just have to learn to never type again in game, riot has turned this into a community and atmosphere where its simply no longer possible.
