Can someone explain how this is worth a 10 game chat restriction and loss of honor?

Ill paste the text in a moment, but it's really frustrating when they send you your side of the convo and you can't see the rest of the text. In both cases I was arguing with someone who was more aggressive toward me and the rest of the team as I was toward them. I cannot fathom how this is deemed "far below the standards of the league of legends community". What's really important to me is that in both instances I was responding to SOMEONE ELSE being negative about the game. I did not instigate either situation and I'm sure the one who reported me in both cases was the guy who started the conversation to begin with.

I am SURE that far worse chat has gone unpunished. Is the only way to avoid chat restriction to just mute all?

Here is what the chat log shows from the two games cited in my 10 game chat restriction:

I believe that one of the main reasons bans like this happen is the only people voting on these bans (in the community) are people who are bitter and simply want to punish people because they can. I would love to know the statistic on how many bans/restrictions are dolled out vs how many people say chat like this is not a big deal when it's sent to the community to vote.

It doesn’t matter who was worse or who started it. You don’t get a free pass to violate the rules just because someone else did.

Harrassing jinx in this manner is not allowed. Its toxic behaviour and it's one of the reasons you got restricted. If you don't get off your high horse harassing team mates, score shaming and asking for reports, the loss of honour will be the least of your problems

It doesnt matter what jinx was doing or not doing. Your job is to play the game. If you see something you dont like, you report after the game. Thats it.

This looks like my chat restriction last year. Guess what. I mute all I dont even type anymore. 1 more checkpoint and I'll have honor 5 this season. Just dont type.

This isnt new, people think they can violate rules and that they wernt in the wrong or shouldnt get ban for it. Look over other peoples post and your gonna find lot of people like yourself who are blind to the mistakes they made.

I had a time where the only thing that was pointed out to me by the support team is that I asked the enemies to report a teammate for the way they were talking and I still had to go through a chat restriction. Said by doing that I created a negative environment, but this here is just full of toxic comments towards your teammates. Saying things like "fucking idiot jinx man" is the worst thing you can really do. I get sometimes it isn't easy to hold back things like that but if you need to get it out, maybe just try saying it out loud instead of typing. Also unless your teammate is actually trolling, don't try making people report them. Some people have a bad game or just get forced into a position they can't play well.

u typed the words afk, report, mute, stupid, idiot and they trigger the braindead system riot has in place. typing curse words like fuck only make it slightly worse

Do not harass, insult, call for reports, or engage in arguements in the middle of a match. Someone else breaking the rules does not permit you to do the same.
