So about leveling up in Honor.

So just askin' because I was a flamer which was on low honor level constantly.

Now I'm totally reformed don't flame at all, but that's not that important. Can I type anything to level up in honor anyway? (a lil'bit fast)

You, who are normal and don't flame, do you get Honor levels faster by not saying anything at all? Or do you chat with your teammates (when their from there and there decent to talk to) regularly and you level up us usual?

Thanks.

While we don't have any solid info on this, I believe that what you type affects your Honor Progress - so typing negative things and getting reported will result in slower/halted Honor Progress, but typing positive things may result in increased Honor Progress.

But, we only know the former one (negative behavior + reports = slower/less Honor Progress) for a fact, but there's still reason to believe in the latter possibility.

Either way, it can't hurt to try, especially given that positive chat can potentially lead to more Honors from your teammates.

saying gg at the end will remind people that you exist and they should honor you

but really, being supportive of people through gameplay, eg. saving and assisting them, is more effective at getting honors than typing.

The fastest way to climb honor is still by spamming co-op vs AI games. People always honor each other there and in my experience you don't have to type anything at all.

The best easy things to do are to always honor a teammate and to say a few nice things every game (and never anything negative). I am honor 5 and I get honored almost every game. I think a lot of that is due to staying positive, and then another part is how I try to be really aware of what's happening on the map so I show up to help my teammates when they need it. That's something people remember when the game is over; "Oh yeah, I was trying to get scuttle and the enemy jg showed up, but MF came right away and we got a kill and then drag."

Dunno I thought I got honor on my main pretty fast. H5 more than a month ago.

I generally "lol" everytime I lose the 1v1 or do something incredibly stupid (happens more than I'd like to admit ;p ). When others or poke fun at me, I generally tell them I'm laughing with them. (Assuming it's poking fun, and not flaming.) I generally type gg after every game, including losses. I try to give friendly advice for players having a hard time like where Mao can throw saplings without pulling lane/turret aggro. Positioning of Cat traps behind turret view, etc... Generally be empathetic to players on the opposing team when they get thrown a troll.
