Hi, been noticing a lot of people telling the enemy team to report someone or asking their team to report someone, I'm wondering if this is ok or not ok? What rule do I report them under?

It's okay if it's once, but if they'd ask for it repeatedly then it's harassment.

Yes, asking for reports is considered Player Harassment and is reportable in itself. It's stated right here in the "Reporting a Player FAQ" on the Riot Support website.

Here's a more specific quote from the website:

Do not ask other players in the match to report the offending player. It only takes one report for our systems to review a game. Additional reports will not do anything for the offending player; however as mentioned above, it could open yourself up to a report of your own; especially if you are derailing the match by constantly demanding reports of other players.

Its a form of haressment and so against the rules. And its also not needed 1 report does the work of 9 so asking report arent needed cause all a report does is flag de game for review.

It is reportable in itself. For some reason I want to add that "It is not punishable by itself but it does tip the scale if there are traces of other unsportsmanline behaviour" But I can't find the source on that even though I am about 99% sure I have read it repeatably over the 10 years league has been alive. So don't quote me on it but keep it in mind if it helps you

We would get a solid confirmation if we found a player that was punished solely for asking for reports but I personally haven't seen such a case in these boards or otherwise.

That's just how rito is. "Report jax he is inting" jax gets to play, you get banned. don't do it.

it is in fact reportable. and I have no reason to report anyone on the enemy team cause they are not on my team and thus not causing me problems.

Yes, it is reportable to ask to report someone. Only 1 report is needed so all you have to do I report someone rather than tell others to report them as well.

no one ever does it, it hardly even matters

It shouldn't be reportable but it is

If you ask for reports on the person who asked for reports on the previous person who asked for reports, etc... does the whole recursive reporting thing fold in on itself in 11 dimensions and subsequently validate string theory? Where's Michio Kaku?

APPARENTLY it is against the rules but i have yet to see someone get punished for ONLY asking to reports.

also considering the last time i had a game where noone asked for reports was in season 6, i'd say that it really isnt against the rules at all.
