Utter Riot Hypocrisy

(Earlier deleted by Riot rather than moved.)

"Jhin is a meticulous criminal psychopath who believes murder is art.": this is an extreme adult theme to have in a safe space disguised as a game.

Adds /taunt feature built right into the game.

/All Chat media has contained swearing and here is a video of Phreak blatantly disregarding the Summoner Code/ rules explicitly stating will bring punishment. Phreak: "I'm gonna swear at this dude and call him a bitch." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XL-g1MGhpc

Riot displays a not very subtle bigotry against what some religious members in the community would find offensive. Apparently, that is ok and subjective to which side of a politcal spectrum you come from compared to Riot. /All Chat also has contained some strong sexual themes, inappropriate for children the game is marketed to.

Harassment as well as taunting and cursing are very rampant across the forum as well as in game. Does anybody truly believe that a player that taunts and harasses others on the forum page does not also taunt and harass players in their safe spaces in the game?

Can a red please address any of these points? I would especially/ specifically like a statement on the video of Phreak swearing and calling other players bitches, as, once again, this is in CLEAR violation of the no-tolerance policy when it comes to the Summoners Code and the explicitly stated rules, regardless of the circumstances.

Phreak never says anything to the guy in chat, he doesn't harass him or anything. He does not break the summoner code in any way. /ALL Chat is not in-game, it is a show about the game and therefore it is not subject to the games rules.

Really amazing...

Earlier, before the previous thread was deleted, the polling stood at 7 yes votes and 3 no votes.

What I can say, is I am thankful that this community can no longer give me more cancer. Hopefully, I can recover.

If you are offended by what a fictional character says, you have bigger issues than this thread.

The LoL Champions are actively murdering each other, that doesn't mean they adhere to the same rules we do.

I believe that it's hypocritical. In-game taunting is the same action as taunting in chat. How can you disagree? It's objective. You can't tell someone they're boring in chat but you can have fizz do it? Spamming an emote on someone's dead body is just as "toxic". It gets under the other players skin. That's the point. Read between the lines. I find it funny so I don't really care. But if riot is going to get high and mighty they should check themselves and understand that this game is not based on a moral foundation. But Riot is too big and rich so it doesn't matter. And riot will forever try to keep their professional reputation spotless so they can bring in money but I can assure you that they are just like you and I. They are not perfect. I got suspended when I was in high-school for defending myself. That same staff that suspended me had sexual relations with a student. It's just how it is. But they try to make you feel morally inferior. Riot Lyte cheated on his fiance. He's an ass hole. And yet how many people did he ban playing God? Being fake as fuck. He was a dick head. I just have to get that across that you are not a lone in your beliefs. This is a pretty old thread. I think a lot more people agree with you but are too lazy to post or just doing other things.
