Perma Bans

The system is taking things out of context when it comes to flaming or toxic behavior. The system is not reading the full story, but only the first pages of it.There is a huge difference when somone is beeing just toxic and when somone is just joking around with the enemy team(player)and having fun and both sides dont get offended. But also some players dont see that just like the system and report you for beeing toxic.Clearly things are taken out of context here and as a result most of the players get perma banned.Well that just sucks but they should improve their system and dont just cut the fun where you spend years and years into one account and it goes away in one second.Maybe i talk no sense maybe i dont know anything, but if im wrong correct me.We all make mistakes and learn from them.

The system requies a report to look over the game. If everything is just a joke you wouldnt get reported. If someone doesnt think of it as a joke the jokepart ends.

The point is that a team game is mixed company. If you're in a 5 man premade, fine, nobody should be reporting what you say amongst yourselves anyways, but the moment you start inserting your spicy brand of humor into /all, then it's a bit different - if someone finds your chat unacceptable, they are well within their rights to report you for it.

Would you show up to a party with a bunch of strangers and start shit-talking them ironically? Exactly. Don't do it here.

There is no context for harassment/negativity/hate

You're right, context doesn't matter when it comes to giving punishments for flaming or toxic behavior.

There is a huge difference when somone is beeing just toxic and when somone is just joking around with the enemy team(player)and having fun and both sides dont get offended.

If nobody gets bothered by what is said there isn't an issue and the game a not flagged for review.

also some players dont see that just like the system and report you for beeing toxic.

Then they obviously didn't like what you said and wanted your behavior to be looked into.

Clearly things are taken out of context here and as a result most of the players get perma banned.

First context is hard enough to convey in text form, second what you find funny and take as a joke somebody else may not, third most players don't get banned for making jokes their haven't been many people complaining "I got banned for making a joke" unless they're trying to justify saying "kys" which is never a joke.

Well that just sucks but they should improve their system and dont just cut the fun where you spend years and years into one account and it goes away in one second.Maybe i talk no sense maybe i dont know anything, but if im wrong correct me.We all make mistakes and learn from them.

It doesn't go away in one second very few people go from no punishments to perma ban, people usually at least get the 14 day ban first, this serves as a warning to learn from your mistakes these people then proceed not to and end up complaining they got banned and if you've actually climbed up the punishment ladder you get 3 warnings to learn from your mistakes so it's not like these people are making one mistake then getting instantly shipped off of league.

Tl/Dr: don't make jokes to people you don't know that can be taken offensively, you get up to 3 warnings before you get your perma ban, don't let it get that far and learn from your mistakes before then.

I think you just found the answer to your problem without even realizing it.

The thing is through text, it is very difficult to see that. I mean if its just a simple KYS, how exactly do you see that as a joke? or when people use Slurs, or cursing to harass someone? Where is that line drawn to say ya they could be joking, or no, this is harassment/toxic/breaking the rules.

Whether in or out of context, flaming or breaking the summoner's code in general is a toxic behavior. It doesn't matter who does it/started it, as long as you do it you're wrong. If someone flames you, the best to do is to mute him/her and to report the player at the end the game. The system DOES work.

Self control is a step forward for a better experience in LoL.
