Banning system needs some work (Bit of a rant on my 14 day ban)

(most of my remarks were in response to questions)

I got banned over one game. People were just as equally as "toxic" as i was. Ill post the transcripts.(sadly of what I said only) Most of my comments where factual witty and kind of being a smart mouth but factual. Some of those who made comments about me were passive aggressive but they played a part into the toxicity. I get it I should just mute people. But really we all play this game we all sink our money and time, 14 days it not worth one game of light statements. But really riot??? 14 day suspension. I have seen a lot of toxicity and i mean name calling, unheard of things, and profanity but really was mine worth a 14 days. I think a lot of players have the same sense if its like super bad i mean mine is not even close to things that can be said "sure 14 day ban". Best part is riot allows those who troll and play new champs in ranked some where they don't even if its ap or ad damage type but they slide right by. And that is what upsets me more i get a ban for being pissed at the fact the jg trolled in the beginning. I get banned because i reacted to them feeding the other team and costing a win. This is a team game and one person who is actively trolling but can put up as "oww im still learning"... Thats ok. Costing 4 other people a win where they get knocked back down and feel like trash, soon that turns into hate for the other player. We are all humans getting beat down in any situation because of other breeds disgust That Riot, is you guys create a breeding ground for toxicity. Especially if you put suspensions like this on other people. But Ill just wait 14 days mute every single player and play the game.

Is there a fix to this? You know what id be happy with a ban system where if i retaliate in the game i don't get banned and they don' t.

Does it really create the behavior I'm referring too? I believe it does.

Is letting a new player play ranked Ok? NO!

Please Fix your ranked system. Fix your banning system. Because calling someone a troll is not really up there on the profanity list. If my ban is not warranted contact me i'd like not to be banned.

for me this is not toxic at ALL PERIOD what was toxic in this game literally nothing where do you people live if you think this is toxic are you 7-8 years so saying you are toxic is somehow you being toxic?? and here i thought i will post my 14 day for saying "are you blind?" in one game and "useless" in another thast was all and getting a 14 day by reading this i will never again speak in chat no teamplay anymore guess i am solo who needs chat right riot ?

Retaliating got me perma banned. I ended up quitting this game because of it. Simply telling my top laner to shut up and calling them an idiot for tons of chat abuse I received from them. My 14 day was well deserved, no doubt about it. But I simply retaliate to toxic comments and I get perma banned.

Here is what I see. You chat too much in game, toxic behavior. You respond to someone bming you ingame, toxic behavior. You ask for reports and say someone is trolling or feeding, automatic toxic behavior. But we can have people int or afk games and have them go unpunished.

If you wish to keep playing this game, don’t chat amongst other people. Don’t be like me and lose your cool on someone cause they wanted to be a prick to you. I lost way too much due to some person and I will never receive it back. It made me quit league. I have no drive and no motivation to play the game. I lost everything I ever cared about on my one account. 1.1 million mastery points on MF.

Just don’t bother chatting, minute someone speaks badly about you or to you, mute or just mute all. I didn’t mute all. I overreacted, and I paid the price. Now I’m playing other games cause I cannot stand the community here.

Wish you the best of luck with your account, your chat logs weren’t even bad imo but yeah. Boards will downvote me but they think they are so perfect and that every game of league has angels in it. Well it doesn’t. There’s toxic trolls out there. There’s people who thrive on getting others upset and angry. It will never stop.

Yes, I do think a punishment was warranted here. You're consistently harassing other teammates for poor plays. If you had a prior 25 game chat restriction, and did not reform, then the 2 week ban was the next step.

After the ban, you're next punishment will be a permanent ban, so I would mute other toxic players if you feel like their comms are disruptive.

If you want to dispute your punishment, I'd write a Support ticket or message them on Twitter.

Asking for reports accomplishes nothing other than annoying the rest of your team (and the enemy team if you used all chat) and is considered harassment of the player you're calling for reports on. You also argued with your team the entire time, which is not the purpose of the chat feature.

I suggest cleaning up your chat based on Riot's behavioral standards, not just your own, or your next punishment will be a permaban.
