3rd Party/Scripting/Hacking Perma Ban.

From what I've seen already there seems to be a flaw in the automated system because apparently everyone who has a 3-4 year old account is getting banned for this, my account that just got banned yesterday (June 20th/16) was 3-4ish years old and was banned for this reason, when I've never even used a 3rd party program, only an Auto Hot Key script that makes typing abbreviations way easier.

That's all the script is, nothing else. Another thing I did was make use of my 22 macros I have on my keyboard to spam the CTRL+x emotes, such as Zed and his THTHTHITHITITHITIHTIITHTIHTITHIH spam, which is pretty goddamn funny. I think Riot should look at all of these and ACTUALLY give people non-scripted answers and actually give people help.

Riot, if you want to be known as a GOOD game Developer Company, listen and help your players. Not ignore and take all of their money, because soon you won't have that money anymore if the bans for BS becomes too much. Oh wait, I got ahead of myself, as far as I know, nobody cares for their players,.

Got banned for this as well last night, same as you. Except I don't have any macros or any third party programs AT ALL. Only thing I can think of is editing the "PersistantSettings.json" file which reverts your hotkeys to default if you don't when changing computers.

Been playing this game for 3 years, and I honestly can't believe this is happening and the lack of response from Riot Support, just automated bullshit.

Ban waves can hit thousands, or potentially tens of thousands of people since they are built up over months sometimes, so it's not surprising to see a lot of threads about being banned when it happens. The thing is, nobody can possibly provide evidence to the forums that they did not cheat or were not compromised. Oftentimes the ban is the result of their account being compromised and that person using illegal programs, and the owner is completely unaware. Sometimes they let a friend use their account and the friend got it banned (I have seen people admit this many times and think they aren't liable)!

My point is that the only thing you can do is direct them to a support ticket. Siding with or against them is pointless because you don't have any of the information Riot had when banning them, and when you side with someone who really was cheating you're doing harm to the community by at the very least making honest players fear being unfairly banned when it won't happen.

P.S. Chat macros are ok.

Same thing happened to me. I have never used any scripts/hacks/ unfair advantages at all. Only championify. I have submitted tickets, which have not helped me at all. My account is over 3 years old, has 20 rune pages, and over 100 champions. My only guess is that during the time my account was compromised another person used something illegal. I have no control over this and it feels quite unfair.

Riot will not lift permanent suspensions. You have to make a new account now.
