I wonder, can people be banned if they are reported for cheating, but all they are doing is using an AutoHotKey script to follow other champs and get assists while they do something else? A person I know is doing that now, and I'm worried they'll get banned. (Of course, they deserve it but I'd like to know if ahk scripts are considered cheats)
If that's what they're using it for, it's absolutely not allowed and they can be banned for it. Any automation of gameplay is not allowed.

Yes you can definitely get banned for scripting, they're also considered a form of cheating even if you aren't reading or editing any memory. Most "cheats" are actually just scripts these days.
