Banned because of trolls.

Hi, my friend just got permanently banned because of 2 normal games with trolls. He lost his plat promos like 3 times because of trolls, i was with him so i know that. He didn't get banned for insulting trolls in ranked but he did get punished for doing it on normals? I don't get this, are normals more important than ranked games? And i think the trolls should get banned for ruining someone's game on purpose not because you get angry at them for trolling you... Is there any way i can help him get his account back? This just isn't fair because i've been with him in those games with trollers that ruined my climbing too and we have to suffer not them...

insulting people in norms is the same as insulting people in ranked does not matter if u gave them 2000$ or 0 $ all accounts are held to the same accountability

Every game that you insult players, behave in a toxic manner and get reported adds to your account's backlog of reports. It's possible that the normal games pushed him over the edge, but normal games and ranked games are considered equivalent for how the punishment system works -- ruining ANYONE'S game isn't considered acceptable.

I can't weigh in on the trolls in question -- if they were feeding, intentional feeding is punished heavily once confirmed, but can be difficult to confirm. If it was behavioral punishment, they may actually be punished, or may soon be punished. Either way, their behavior does not excuse his, condone his, or have any bearing on his.

A permanent ban, once issued, is never lifted unless it is applied in error, so if it is a permanent ban your friend may be out of luck.
