I recently started playing this game two or three weeks ago, and I have been really enjoying it (Rammus!). I just got into a match and it crashed on me for the first time, my money is on new windows update, I have a pretty sweet pc so i decided to just reboot. 30 secs later i get back into game and instantly start farming to catch up with my tmates, they were lvl 3 at that point. My teammate just freaks the f out on me and shit. I still dont know what he was going on about but anyways i try to right whatever wrong and i get berated with you're a stupid fuck and just keeps going on and on. This is the first time I have had that kind of toxicity thrown at me but I have seen it from others a lot. Baaahhhh, I play rocket leaguy frequently so i understand ppl will be toxic but this guy and the few others i have seen take it to a whole nother level. If this game is that toxic I think I will just take my money and time elsewhere.

Low level is a cesspool of toxicity. There are players whom will harass others every opportunity they get, they get banned and make a new account to continue playing, yet continuing their toxic ways.

So at the end, new players see that toxic behavior and then suffer. Those toxics will continue being toxic and will get banned again, so it gets better as you go up the levels.

You are going to find toxic players in every community. That is why the provide the ability to mute people.

from my experience, you will meet this type of toxic behavior pretty often. there is a handful of ppl that are not as toxic and a handful thats even worse.

i recommend you to either turn off chat completely, or quit.

Don't let yourself be berated. Don't let it go on and on. Mute them after the first unhelpful line.

I WOULD say don't let some random toxic %%%%s ruin your enjoyment of the game but unfortunately, this is a team game. If the toxicity is only verbal you can just mute if you really want to, but it's when they actually start intentionally ruining the game when it gets stupid. There really isn't a "solution" you can personally do to completely eliminate toxicity. The best advice I can give you is to not spread it. It can be VERY tempting to go off on someone who's being a dick, but I garentee you the 2 weeks (or perma if you say something REALLY bad) isn't worth it.

You will find toxic players everywhere. You need to either mute chat and report. Or if you are an optimistic person, feel free to encourage them about things you can successfully do as a team. I can't do it, I prefer keeping chat muted to avoid such people.
