Perm Ban - I agree I deserved a ban, but I don't agree with the perm.

I had a game where I was in a bad mood to start with. Came in off some bad IRL news. This singed refused to join the team and it just ended up tilting me into oblivion. I used some hate speech (non-racism) and I said stuff I do feel was out of line. I was getting flamed for trying to 1v5 defend towers, which I probably shouldn't have, but the team just wouldn't group up to defend. So I flamed. I flamed harder then I have ever before. I was E-Triggered and in a bad mood. HE probably deserved a little shade, but I was out of line. I agree with this, but the perma ban just felt misguided. They were calling me a Faot and R*ded and what not. How can you throw a perma-ban at someone recieving the same treatment? Do you just ban all of my team as well? I probably should be 14 day day banned. I was obnoxious and I do feel bad about it. I can be a little snarky at times but I usually just flame, calm down and focus on the game, but my last few I should have just not played while hearing bad news from IRL. I've been on this account since before S1 even started. I get honored and friendlied most games. How can I have 9 games in a row with honors, then 3 games where Im having a bad day and then turn into a PERMA ban. I really feel like the punishment team of riot is trying to clean out the weeds, but don't actually look into anything.

Had you received any previous punishments on the account? Can you share your chat logs? Those pieces of information are important to properly determine whether or not the ban is justified.

Edit -- Looking through your post history, you seem to have received a 14-day ban three months ago. Given the recent occurrence of the second-most-serious ban, this seems justified -- hate speech normally escalates you up at least two or more tiers, which would have put you firmly in permanent ban territory. You ALSO recently received a warning in the form of that 14-day ban that said that the next punishment would be permanent.

Well, you already answered your own question.

I used some hate speech [...] and I said stuff I do feel was out of line. [...] So I flamed. I flamed harder then I have ever before.

Hate speech is one of those no tolerance things. To adapt a phrase, a little bit goes a long way in the punishment tier system. Saying hate speech phrases once or twice is all it will take to get a 14 day ban, you sound like you've said them a little bit more than that in this game.

Maybe you could create a support ticket for this, but it's pretty unlikely. The only shot you'll have is if you basically got two punishments at once before you could be notified of getting one.

Starting to see that these boards are like the Republican vs. Democratic debates. You are either a pious perfect being telling everyone to stop having flaws, or you are the person with flaws asking for a little empathy. There is no in between. This wasnt the correct platform to discuss human error apparently.

Permabans should be the last thing riot does. They should make bans longer than 2 weeks.

This shit is a perfect example of my shit teams, but I still dominate silvers, I don't care if I climb or not, as long as I know I play well and dominate kids in silver

I hate this system, it seems to favor those who can say report x player more and get their team behind it. 3 people ganging up on one person, we better ban him after we get him to lash back out. Feels like high school. Oh well, now I have to make a smurf and get reported for smurfing and banned there.

Contrary to what the boards make it seem like, the vast majority of LoL players are actually decent to interact with. Sure, some might get a bit heated and say some things that are out of line, but the ones that act as you've described yourself are relatively few and far between, at least as far as my experiences go. I for one have never been given so much as a chat restriction, and I know there have been a few times where I've said some negative things in the heat of the moment, so I can only imagine the sort of things you've said.

I know you think your permaban is the result of one game, one indiscretion, one bad game when you were in a bad mood because of who cares what. But Riot gives you multiple tiers worth of punishment, and if enough times occurs after a punishment, you even go down tiers until eventually you have a clean slate, so the fact that you escalated all the way to a 14 day ban AND kept going is pretty clear evidence that you refuse to change. If it were up to me it would be 1 warning followed by permaban, but Riot is more lenient than I am.

If you got a permaban, that means either your offense was so heinous that it bypassed all the lower tier punishments... or you had previous punishments and warnings that your next punishment would be a permaban.

Additionally, you're responsible for your own actions. Other players are responsible for their actions.

Just as you were punished for your actions, if you reported the other players, they will be punished for their actions.

Release those chat logs homie, I got my Gold 3 account banned and here I am on a new one. Legit all you have to do is say out-loud in real life how fucking shit they are. You don't need to let them know. All my teams are shit, I destroy silvers but I still don't climb because of retarded kids on my team. It's ok yo

It's funny because if you didn't 1v5 defend a turret, they would flame you for not defending the turret. And yeah, it's unfair that you get banned and they don't.

It doesn't matter whether you agree with it. You're not the one deciding.
