Boosted players?!

Okay, about me: Im a player who has played since season 1. I dont say im the best player, but I know how to play the game on a higher lvl.

I dont know if its just me, but in the years I have seen WAY to many boosted players, and gold is the worst. Every single game I have played with alteast 1 player, who you clearly can see dont know what divison he/she is in, that nearly always makes Bronze plays. Dont know if its just me, that always meets these kind of players, but I generaly think, that Riot should do something about this. Using some tech that can block VPNs or something. I know, that Its hard for them to block every boosted player, but they have to do something. Boosted players are destroying the climbing, and the experions to play in your divison. And everybodt makes bad calls, I know, myself included, but you can clearly see, when a player is boosted. I have an example:" I played with a Viktor in gold division, I was jung. So this guy died 2 times early (Thats okay, everybody can do that), but later on, he actually said with his own words "I only picked Viktor because I got this new skin. BTW - I have only played him 3 times, but just thought this skin was nice." Im was just tilted, my hole team was. Dude, if ìts ur 3 time VIktor, DONT PICK HIM IN RANKED! Play some normal so you can learn him...

My question will be. Can we ever stop boosted players, or should we just live with them?

I'm pretty sure boosted doesn't mean what you think it does. And I also have a suspicion that you have no clue what a VPN is. And you think you're way better than you actually are. You've been playing low silver for 3+years and are in gold now.

I mean, everyone has bad games, it's not like that isn't possible. But proving that someone is boosted, takes a lot more than someone just getting pissed that someone fed a game or made really bad choices. Besides, that's why people get demoted, because if they can't play in their division due to being bad or actually being boosted, they SHOULD be kicked out. If someone wants to pay to get boosted to an ELO that they can't truly play in, they won't be there for long.

And VPNs literally don't matter. Riot cares less about where you're getting your internet from and your IP address, than A. How much money you spend on the game, and B. That you aren't going from bronze to plat or diamond in like a week.

There are plenty of people that are OTPs and they can climb extremely high, there are TONS in Masters and challenger.

I agree with if you don't know how to play a champ properly, play a normal game. (Not regarding your particular situation) But that being said, the best place to learn is in a competitive environment, which is ranked. Arguably people are trying to win much much more than in a normal.
