Hacked and Permabanned
This last week I had a weird experience where friends were contacting me about playing and I wasn't even on. Long story short I came to find out that I was hacked and that someone got on and played three games one afternoon - and it wasn't me. I have no idea how it happened, but I promptly changed my password and figured the problem was solved so I didn't think much else of it.
Flash forward to this evening when I went to play, I get a notification upon login that my account had been permanently banned for use of third party software or something along those lines. I'm assuming this means that whoever played those three games on my account was scripting or something of the sort, and apparently it was noticeable enough to get me permabanned.
My main question is what is the chance of me being able to get my account back? As I mentioned, after I changed my password I thought the problem was solved, so I don't have any "evidence" per-say to prove that it wasn't me playing at that time. I did change my password that same evening, and they should have record of that, the hacker also bought and played Yasuo for the games, who I haven't ever played before, and it was the first couple of games I had played in like three weeks. I also have had this account for nearly 5 years and haven't had so much as a chat restriction before, hit honor level five, basically no issues up until now, so I'm hoping they give me the benefit of the doubt and let me have my account back, but I have no idea how likely that is.
I submitted a ticket already, but any info on the best process to try and recover my account would be awesome!
