RIOT ought to do something about own team banning ur picks

Seriously, RIOT has done nothing about this issue to improve the gaming experience. Sure, its understandable some champs are not likeable, but if your own teammate decides to play it, you have to respect their choices. Last few games has been a nightmare. Teammates banned my picks, without any explanation. furthermore, THEY are going troll picks like in support WITHOUT a support item. it is blatantly obvious these people are trolling and having no way of punishing them, it frustrates me even more. Yes, i can dodge; and i have. But that's not the point. The problem is having NO WAY of punishing these trolls without having to punish yourself at the same time. I dodged 3 games because of this, and i was put on 20 min dodger timer. For me, this happens way too frequently and i feel Riot has to do something about it. PLEASE RIOT IF YOU ARE EVEN LOOKING AT THIS DO SOMETHING

Then stop posting your intended pick. If people still ban that champ, then they are obviously not trolling you and simply do not want to play with or against that champ as is their right to do so.

No, I don't, that's inexperienced logic. That's like saying that players who wants to play that character should respect my right to ban that character, but you wont like it if I use that logic on you. [sg-lux-2]

There are over 100 champions, just pick another. BUT I ONLY KNOW HOW TO PLAY … learn more.

Maybe just add a quick box that says "a teammate has intended to play this champion" when you lock in your ban, and then you can just click ban or cancel. They shoulsnt just completely bar you from banning a champ, but an extra warning would be nice. Ive accidentally banned a teammates intended pick a few times and they were total babies about it even after i said mb didnt see. Total fucking babies.

Also, if time runs out before you confirm the ban or not, it just bans them. That way we arent adding any extra time to the lobby phase.

The only downside to my idea that I can think of, is players will now feel even more justified in claiming theyre being trolled. "But they KNEW i had it intended because that medsage pops up, so obviously they were trolling me". But I really dont care about whiney players like that and you can always just report em if they harass you for banning their intent pick.

As far as Riot doing something about picking off meta shit and banning your intended champ, no they arent, and dont really have to do anything about that. You can play whatever champ you want. If they are trolling in game, thats when you report. Dont just assume troll because its off meta. I play anivia bottom quite successfully and I try hard.

Just because it is hovered does not guarantee that you will get it. If it would be horrendous to play against, and the other team has the slightest chance to get it, I would probably ban it too

a simple "are you sure you want to ban this champ? Someone has declared it" would suffice. But Riot is a perfect company and only makes the right choices how dare you question them KAPPA

Learn to play other champions league is a team game if your team does not want to play with a champion they can ban it.

I ban teammate picks all the time if I get auto filled. It increases the chance of them dodging and me getting to play what I want to faster. It is a terrible system
