How to control rage/tilt?

Hey everyone! I've been really investing time to become better at the game, watching videos, going into practice tool farming CS, focusing on champs I am good at/OP for the current patch. I'm doing everything I can to get out of Bronze and into Silver. My goal for this season is to get S2. I want to climb as high as I can to get into Gold in a season or two. My gameply isnt perfect but I would like to think my microplays are better than most at the bronze level. With all that being said, when my team gets demolished and then they resort to being toxic, flaming. and inting, how can I avoid myself from being FILLED with rage and so pissed to a point it makes me want to cry? -When I get super pissed, I start to cry, just how I am- I know I am not the best player (obv I'm B1) but how can I control my tilt better? I don't go off in chat but i start wanting to yell and smash things IRL. Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you

TL;DR I'm improving my game. How can I handle tilt when team is being toxic, flaming, int'ing, etc.

Growing thicker skin and ignoring is good against flamers, mental self control is good against inters; control your emotions

I say coming from a guy whose been permabanned LOTS of times, just take a break. Take a breather or watch some vids or go eat or something xD Once you feel calm to where you can just ignore or say "Mehh" to most of the flame/toxicity, then that's probably when it's best to start again. Even if it's the next day. Consistently playing just makes it worse (From what I've seen and personal experience).

In game as Ornndyr says, just mute people. Sadly but truthfully, solo queue is all a play for yourself practically. The moment you get someone pinging at you, should usually call for immediate mute for pings, emotes, chat. Otherwise it'll soon tilt you and upset you. Just remember also, whatever is said in game, riot takes that to the next level. Rage outloud is somewhat the better option. If the team continues to flame each other/enemy team, let them. As long as you don't get involved, you won't get punished. Sure you may lose games but it's better than getting yourself perma-banned, making new account to 30 again to rank to repeat the process..

At times you can try to be positive and give positive suggestions and minor speeches like having positive attitude but some people just can't be helped and tilt off the face of SR. Those people are just an immediate mute and continue to focus playing.

I'm a jungler main so I get spammed ping a lot to gank lanes and help people and the way I do it is just mute them and ignore them and refuse to gank for them the rest of the game. If they lose lane and choose to flame and troll, I let them. As long as I don't say anything to them I won't get busted, and at times you may find yourself getting ganged up on (Trash talked to/Blaming you) from other teammates or their duo, do the same. Mute and report them after and just focus on yourself.

That's my thought/opinion on it, best of luck!

I took a 3 month break. Started playing ranked yesterday, did my placements. It was alright. People inted but I didn't give a shit.

When I get to gold and plat... Oh boi.

by muting them? nothing helpful is ever said in diamond or lower games in my games im practically making every call on the map and when i don't everyone just flames instead

if you want to lower your chances start calling for teh objectives if people follow and the play fails you will know for the next time why it failed if people don't follow and you lose the game keep making the call until it fails repeat

Coming from someone who has been permabanned a few times on a few accounts, one really good way to control rage and tilt is to mute everyone of all pings, emotes, chat. This is not something I want to resort to because irl you can't just mute your problems away, but for league I can make the exception because it really does help a lot.

It is not 100 percent tilt proof though, the only way to be fully tilt proof, don't play the game. Especially if you are on tilt, at least take a break.

After a bad game, do something relaxing such as...

Have a snack. Watch tv. Take a shower. Go for a walk or bike ride.

Just to list a few examples.

Then try again after if you're feeling up to it.

Do not play for rank! Do not play to win!

Only play for fun, if you do not enjoy the game just start trolling around, trying to pull of some very spectacular kill or whatever. Since Rito does not care about trolls in general, this game became a hell for players who care about winning.... Just enjoy the game, and crap on ELO!

/mute all. Literally how I went from silver to gold a few seasons back and now I can consistently do it. The thing is, if you know how to rotate on objectives and read the map you don't need your team to tell you what to do. Not only that but chat is useless like 99.9999% of the time other than for flaming at your elo.
