How can that be ?

I had a game yesterday. our jungler goes afk because he was invaded in the early game. He even wrote in the chat "I'm going afk" and was in the base from the end of the game afk.

I report after game (my teammates also report him) and i send a ticket to Riot support.

A collaborator from Riot Support answered me, he looks at it.

Now i look op.gg from the player, and he still playing games.

So, how can that be ? a player go afk and write this in ingame chat also, but will not be punished for it ?

i recommend to look into the punishement systems.

  1. you dont get banned for afking. you get a laughable low priority q punishement. which basically means, for 5 games, you have to wait 5(or 10 or 20) minutes before getting into the q. what a cruel punishement i know.
  2. you only get a punishement (any sort) if you do a rulebreak several times in a row. leaving one or two games wont get you any punishement.
  3. support tickets are like playing lotto. 99,99% of the time nothing is going to happen besides you wasting your time (and money)

He probably got 5min que time. You cant get banned for afk. I think there was a system back in season 1 or 2 which gave you 1 to 3 days ban depends on how many times you leaving , cant remember good. But it was awful system.

I'm not sure what you're expecting here.

Leaving a single game does not result in an instantaneous ban.
