New to ranked, 2 afk'ers and no remake, forced into bronze?

So I finally hit level 30 and played 2 ranked games where there was 2 afkers but we couldnt remake because they would connect then disconnect. I know I dont deserve to be placed in bronze 4 after just 2 games that were forced loses because of afk'ers and no remake. what ever happened to placement games? it said 1/8...2/8...then it just said bronze 4 without me getting any more chances at redeeming what was uncarryable 4v5s 2 games in a row.

do i just make a new account? because if so, you guys need to fix your game. if thats the only way to reset ranking, no wonder there is a huge black market for even silver / gold accounts.

please help.

Regardless of this, if this is your first account, expect to be placed in bronze or lower once you finish all of your provisional matches. You are waaaaaay too new to start this "i should start out higher, my teams are shit" kind of mentality. You're in for a tough ride if you focus on others instead of yourself when you're this new.

Lol. You’re brand new. You don’t deserve higher than bronze/iron, no matter what you “know”. Everyone who jumps straight into ranked at lvl 30 places bronze or iron unless they have prior experience. For instance, I’m plat 1 on my main account. When I level a new account and jump into ranked, I consistently get a provisional rank (meaning after 2 games of my promos) of Silver 1 or Gold 4. On my first account, I placed into Bronze 2 b/c I jumped straight into ranked when I hit 30 (this was before Iron was a thing). Dropped down to Bronze 3 before eventually climbing out.

All that to say, it takes time. I wouldn’t have advised going into ranked immediately, but you did and you’ve been placed bronze now. Deal with it, b/c you’ll get the same result on any other account you make.

Just play the game, if you deserve higher rank, you will climb, watch guides, explore what pros/high elo players build, you can get at least silver/gold in one season. Pick two champs, master them, focus on yourself. This is how I climbed in S1 and it still works.

ive had gold accounts in the passed, played on and off for years, lost many accounts with unique account per email basis...stupid...lol
