Match Making and Negative Players
Recently I've been hitting rank more than I ever did in my years of league. I was surprised that I was able to hit my promos to plat since rank has never caught my attention up to this season. But lil' did I know riot matchmaking had other plans for me. I lost my promos surprise, surprise. I can accept the fact there are players better than me BUT what I cannot accept is losing due to the fact my team didn't want to do better. I've played with PLATS (plat four players specifically) and I am surprised to the fact that they are ego maniacs. And yes it is to be expected but this ego maniacs think they've ascended to the LCS leagues. They'll constantly tell you how to do this, that, which minion to kill, what I item is best for that champ even if they even haven't touched that specific champ at all.
What's worse is they'll come up with dumb *** excuses to evade the fact they can make mistakes since they belong to the 'bigger league'. I was playing support thrice (supp main here) and I've missed one ult out of 4 times in bot. One match I played Leona, I saw Chogath entering the enemy Jung red buff side and after clearing it he went to the tri bush. As I engaged he decided to curve back to his jungle despite the fact he had the perfect opportunity to flank and I said to me adc,"Srry I thought Cho was ganking". He replied, "I can't gank when u miss ur cc, sad elo, riot's messed up matching making." Excuse me? He barely land a single q, the only thing he landed (struggled to land) was a damn ult. And yes he could have been cc's which is why he struggled you may think which you are correct but he ate all the skill shots. For a plat 4 he ate all those skills shots and had to head to the doctor since he suffered frm obesity due to all the fat skill shots he ate.
Another match we suffered frm a 4v5. But the thing is our plat Caith wasn't afk. She avoided team fights as hard as she can. Whenever she was farming top the moment we all head top she recalls and head bot. Then we head bot she recalls head top. I defended her hoping she'd drop that ego since it was weigh in her down. Then my last attempt was to ask her to join team fights and objective controls with a 'please'. She replied with, "Why?". What happened to to the report system? Why bother adding the report button when it guarantees 20% function?
And lastly. A Jinx who said I didn't have the audicity and what it takes to play support just because I didn't POKE. For a 600,000 Jinxs she's pretty good. But aperrantly she doesn't know how Nami works. Every time she lands an e and w I give her Nami's e buff and bubble incase if Lucian heads off. But everytime I do so she heads back behind me. Why run frm a 60%hp Lucian? I got you I have my heal and q but idk y u have to turn around and type that I'm not harassing. In my defense they had a Blitzcrank, I am not eager to give kills just so that I can throw a bubble at Lucian's face when my adc provides 0 follow ups. But when Blitz roam that's a new story. If you're going to say, "Oh why didn't you just stun Lucian instead" I wouldn't be complaining about this specific scenario if it were that ez. Everytime I try he would immidiately attack him with everything he got and the thing is my adc was too much of a coward to bother even staying 1 m near me. I can't engage without a follow up that's all I can say. The point is everytime I hit my promos to the next elo (Silver, gold, plat) my match making attracts flamers and inters. I'm not saying I deserve more than I can earn but what I'm saying is I'm willing to accept my defeat if the opponents are in a whole new level. BUTT what I won't accept is the fact that I'm losing is due to the fact my teammates doesn't want to act as one and be better. Btw this people I've mentioned are all plat 4s and had their duo with them. And trust me they flamed me even if my stats were normal while their duo had a 2/16 sort of score. Like if they're doing bad ill understand that everyone has bad days but if you're going to blame me to protect your duo even if I didn't type a single word or LETTER against him. Pls argue with the guy flaming ur boyfriend not me. And for the last time, riot pls fix your report system or might as well remove it frm the game,ty. Oh yah edit, if you're gonna say mute them,i can't. I need to communicate with my team but trust me they would prefer to argue but then there are some players willing to agree to the fact that "The enemy is in front of us, not besides us". I'm not the best but am willing to do be just so that I can earn out of league from tourneys. To help my family. But it's really discouraging since the only thing um building up atm is patience for players like these. And trust me I'm building up patience but then I realized I'll reach no where to gain new experience if they're always by me and my partner's(both posseive and plural).
