Brand is an AP carry in the botlane, considering all the free % damage in his kit it's expected he will do the most dmg with the least amount of items. That is why he works in the support role, not his lackluster stun.
That said /mute all is the solution until Riot caves and gives us the ability to remove chat from our account. I'd advice some music to keep you relaxed in game as well. I myself just smoke in pre game lobby, mute all, and then play to some shitty music.

Dude I know it, I solo'd 3 lanes up to enemy inhibs the other day as a tank because team refused to group around me. I rotated well enough to rarely die doing so. I pinged my team to do baron while I was pushing the bot inhib down after it respawned because the enemy would have to answer me and team bum-rushed into the backing enemy instead of doing as they were told. They blamed me the enemy was able to take our nexus by force afterwards since none of them died. I get I'm a tank, but league is too bursty for me to defend 4 people from themselves as they blunder into champs like talon over and over while building 1 or fewer defensive items. I worked with what I had and got shit done but people are too slow to understand this isn't call of duty, you need to take objectives at some point to win the game.
You best bet is to use the mute function the moment you sense any negativity!
