A question about smurfs

Hello guys, I play lol since season 3, and encountered many smurfs. At first, I hated them, though they ruin games. But after I got to plat III, I played on the bronze IV account of my brother, and laughed a lot. Not because how they play, but because how they act. Always flame, never teamwork, and always blame others for their own faults. I was on my main also bronze once, but I never acted like that, I was always nice and friendly. But enough of me, I want to talk about some specific smurfs, the ones with a champion name. For exemple TOP 0LAF, Only Tristana, etc. Well, if I have them in my bronze/silver game, 90 percent of them act like baddasses, but play like crap and flame (give top and i carry, STFU BRONZE etc.). And, I have a theory, its because they got to silver/gold, got stuck, made a new account and want to be pros in bronze, am I right? Play one champ, call the account after him and ready to annoy people. I almost never meet players with champion names in plat/diamond. If anyone would be so nice and helped me, I would be happy.

IMO you can tell by their score how highe elo they are, plat-diamond will be 10/0 ore more at 15 min in, otherwise their just gold silver. I know cuz i play with lot of silver and gold V-III in normals and their skill is not that impressive actually. The worst smurf that you can play against IMO is the one going full lethality lee sin

I'm no one to talk. I'm only G5, but your question was about Gold players and smurfs. From that perspective though I can definitely see some players getting to Gold just off micro play, or maybe having a higher IQ than average. You know, the people that breezed through highschool because they were exceptionally bright but failed college when things actually got hard. They have the potential, but not the humility or discipline.

If someone like that made it to gold they would have a very... very hard time getting past that without adopting some semblance of humility and self focus. So, they get hard stuck. Prideful people tend to base their self worth on their achievements, so it doesn't take long for them to burn out and start looking for easy highs here of there. So instead of realizing the problem is with them and using their losses as lessons, they take the easy way out, make smurfs and tell themselves they are worth something again because the bronzies don' t stand a chance.

I duo with my wife a lot, she is in low bronze and ya.. it's pretty easy to win most of the time. I can definitely see someone being tempted to get that high all the time. The issue though... spend all of your time stomping bronzies and your skill level begins to fall. You have to play against others that are better than you in order to be better.

The funny thing is... in an attempt to make themselves feel better they are getting worse and the players they are "stomping" are getting better...

So, that's my take anyway. Hope it helps ^^

Smurfs do ruin the game.
