DZK is trying to set a precedent

I don't know if he is doing it intentionally or not, but that is what he is doing. Step by step he comes up with more and more disgusting comments, checking how far he can go. His actions set a precedent for both other employees and players.

As someone who has supported Riot's anti-toxic plans and actions ever since there has been any, this puts me in a difficult position. Over on the EU boards, in the past 10 years i have joined more discussions on player behavior than i can count. I have always supported the original Riot's idea about toxicity: context does not matter, since everyone is responsible for their words and actions, and some topics fall into a zero tolerance category for example death threats and death wishes.

This point of view has been backed by a lot of my fellow players, both in this game and in others, as well as scientific studies, the education i received and Riot's own research and publications.

However from this day on, the toxic players will have a precedent that currently i can't deny. Every piece of argument i have used up to this point can be thrown out if this precedent sticks. Even the IFS system is based on the things players find unacceptable and so it might change in the future in reflection of these current events.

I don't want that to happen, Riot. Do you? What do you want me to do?

For a moment I thought this was the player behavior forums.
