Why is Lane Stealing Never Punished

I have encountered the same guy about 3 times. He always get support and then auto locks in adc saying "go support or I will throw". This has been over the span of a couple days, each time with me reporting him for stealing lanes and yet nothing happens to him. Oh but yea, if you say a NAUGHTY word you get insta banned. Get your shit together please riot.

Call his bluff, make him dodge.

Giving him your role just looks like you traded positions with him.

They do get banned. Its just easier and faster to ban for something chat related than gameplay related.

If i give you a jar of 1,000,000 marbles of the same color, and ask you whether or not they are red, im sure you could respond to that question immediately.

If i give you the same jar and ask you if they all weigh the same, its going to take much longer.

Let him throw. You'll lose one match sure, but he'll lose a match AND create evidence against himself.

You don't actually own the lane. Anyone can go to any lane. Literally.

Things like that are not difficult to code into ifs. Rito? Plz?

Riot doesnt give a shit. As long as he isnt toxic nothing will ever happen to soft inters, lane stealers and boosted players.

Get some screenshots of his threats in champ select, then use the replay feature to show how the player actually goes to whatever lane they want, then submit a Support Ticket with your screenshots/clips as evidence.

As a matter of fact.. according to rito, it is bannable.

Else, since i get trolls EVERY SINGLE GAME i don't go supp (either pick troll supp/go adc/straight int though not admitting it/staying afk without zoning nor anything at all, in fact saying he's "eating"/picking every single kill so again the supp is me), i have begun making a list with screenshots of.. and in one beautiful day, i will send them to the supp, then publish their reaction.

Because i simply don't believe the IFS does anything on the matter. And i think, you don't either.

oh, and yes you can check my match history!

Would you like to propose a solution? It's almost impossible to solve this issue. You can't have a word ban that bans "throw" or "go" unless Riot literally watches everyone's chat, which will never happen and I hope it doesn't.

Just block people like that and they won't be in anymore of your games. Blocking them whitelists them so you can't have them in any matches in the future

Tegash10/19/2018, 7:12:39 PM1 votes

If you let him go to the lane instead of you (that is, taking the position they abandoned), it doesnt look like a flagged event.

That's right.

The only way to get people like these in trouble is to completely ignore them and in so doing, make your team lose the game.

However, taking screenshots of what they said before the game starts and turning that over to Riot through a Support Ticket, rather than the end-of-game report screen, will definitely help your case.

Don't let them push you around

Zethro10/20/2018, 12:17:53 AM1 votes

its sad cuz the role stealing actually works....

Espy Psyche10/20/2018, 3:29:23 AM1 votes

Just call his bluff. Lock in whatever the system says your role should be (not what he tried to force you into). Then lane as you normally would, last hitting minions and such. When he intentionally feeds, report him for inting.

You can Take a screen shot. There's a default hotkey for it. It should be the "print screen " button. Paste the pic to the paint.ms and send in a ticket along with the pic to support.
