Unlucky Placements

I sadly have had a sad placement so far. Currently I am 4-4 with my matches, but 2 of the 4 losses so far have been because have people with bad attitudes who throw the game on purpose, and/or afk straight for the start. It is hard to deal with this behavior in matches, especially in ranked, which is the only time I ever see this kind of act. Is there anything that can be done with those matches, or even better, how to help situations like this not happen, besides reporting them, cause it seems to not change their behavior at all.
