What on earth is up lately, Riot?

Why is it that almost EVERY game I've had, lately, all my team does is berate, flame, and rage at one another? It's getting beyond the point of frustration because it makes it nearly impossible to win when 2, 3, or ALL 4 other people are bickering the ENTIRE game. I've literally lost the past 13/20 games, lost my series twice, and gotten demoted, and it's mainly been due to that. All I've literally done is ask and then tell them to stop and just play. The toxicity is getting to an all-new level. I'm not sure I want to play for awhile just because all I'm going to do is lose due to not being able to carry 3-4 other people because they're so distracted at waving their "I'm better than you are" flags that they can't be arsed to actually pay attention to and play the game.

Then perhaps my determination isn't far off, that it's because there's more of a population, at the moment, with less self-control and possibly maturity level, due to age. It's not as if my reports aren't going through, so it seems at least some are taken care of. But it doesn't make it any less frustrating. Maybe I'll just chalk it up to that and wait to play again until September.

I was honestly just wondering if there was an actual increase in behaviour issues, lately, or if I'm just getting unlucky.

This wasn't meant as an argument. It was meant to see if I were the only one experiencing the increase or if it is becoming a problem for some reason and if it is, so that the reasoning could be looked into.

It is becoming a big problem, especially since Riot does literally nothing but count reports and dole out punishments based on how many you have. So this way the premades and like minded toxic players cant be touched because they aren't get reported enough. I know its hard to moderate millions of players but maybe if Riot listened to their community they could come up with a solution.

Its kidda expected when you play at peak times when a certain type of of players get back home after a day of summer camps / school.

You also see toxicity spikes as well during public holidays.

I don't know if it's the kids being out of school or what, but I'm liable to put league away until September, at this rate. Decay would take less away :-/
