STOP SAYING "its just a game" ONLY when its convenient for you.

Lost a match because Yi wanted to run after SOLO KILLS the entire game, ignoring the team and running ahead solo only to end up getting killed. When we were getting stomped and wanted yi to help, he pulls a "Its just a game/is just Normals".

So I embrace his notion and as we are about to lose, I made one last push for the towers. Suddenly Yi starts pinging on me and calling for reports because I wasnt with the team...or wasnt working to make him look good.

If you think its "just a game" when you screw over 4 other people because you think you are too good to group with the rest of the team. When your solo kills are more important. Then you dont get to turn around and act like its suddenly the LCS world finals match when its convenient for you.

Seriously the level of double-standards in this community is rediculous. Player has High kills and wants to sit around farming kills when you want to actually END, they will tell you "chill out man, its just a game" or something along that line. Basically saying they want to sit around and showboat and you shouldnt be so "try hard" for wanting to actually go for the nexus. But as soon as YOU do anything that isnt in line with what THEY want. You wont go where they tell you, build what they tell you. Or in my case, take thier notion to heart and make one last push for the enemy nexus while they take your base, suddenly "its just a game" goes out the window and it becomes "Report X for not ______"

Or there are alot of people on here who seem to switch back and forth between "its a team game" and "its a solo game" whenever its convenient to them. They will jump back and forth between things like "Your team plays no part in your win/loss ratio. Your win or loss is solely your fault" Its all about Your SOLO game. and completely ignore that if your teams intentionally sabotage and throw the match. Their greed is your fault. Their tantrum is your loss (and its all your fault. Especially if the match becomes a 5v4/5v3. Still your fault) But If you dont do what someone else says, Build what someone else says, etc. Suddenly the game is a TEAM game.

I am saying I am growing sick and tired of people who will use "Its a team game" and "its a solo game" whenever its convenient for them, flip flopping back and forth.

If players want to run solo and showboat/screw around for "Solo kills" then its "just a game" But the moment you dont do what THEY say in game, then they will call to report you for "not playing as a team" and will act like its the LCS World finals and they are one win away from the cup. Whichever is convenient for them.

If you want to treat it like its "Just a game" then uninstall and go play Mario Bros. that is "just a game" Thats like signing up to a sports team and just roaming around the field doing whatever you want while the rest of the team is trying to win. And when they ask you to play with the team, you respond with "relax man, Its just a game" But When you decide you want to go for a goal and everyone doesnt do exactly what you say to help make YOU look good. Suddenly they arent "playing as a team"

TLDR: KNOCK it off with the "its just a game" excuse when you want a showboat and run solo, then acting "tryhard" when people dont do what you say. Just stop saying "its just a game" altogether. its headache-inducing.
