If i select a champion pre-ban phase and my teammate bans them anyway, can that auto-dodge them?

If i select the champion i intend to play and my teammate still bans them, can that instead just auto-dodge that player, and spare us all having to lose time and potentially promotion series?

It's mechanically no different than if the enemy bans the champion. If you can only play one champion reliably, then that's on you to correct.

While I understand the frustration and annoyance with teammates intentionally banning your pick intent, there's still the occasional situation where a teammate might accidentally ban your pick intent. Regardless though it's not a situation where auto-dodging is warranted since you can always just pick another champion instead or simply just avoid showing your pick intent to begin with.

No, its not against any rules to Ban a prepicked Champ. If you only Play one Champ and it gets banned you can take the dodge If you Like.

It is a team game if someone does not like a pick and thinks the team has a better chance of winning if they ban it that is perfectly fine.

Forgive me if it's been said already.

Why not the other way around? If they ban your intended pick, you get a free dodge.

They need to add an option for reporting for maliciously banning your teammate's champion that makes you lose your ban/ gives it to a teammate.

It's so annoying playing with someone who is bans your champion and says something like "dont play leona play janna". It doesn't help your team's chances of winning, since you're setting them off of their comfort pick and forcing them to play someone they didn't want to play.

And to people who say its no different if the enemy team bans it: intent is everything. It's the reason why feeding isn't bannable but intentional feeding is.

Just don't hover your champ. If I did that, my Ivern would be banned every game.

Also, play more Ivern.
