There was a list of Riot approved programs and Championify was on it. I currently use Championify myself.

I don't believe it would be. I believe only programs which give an unfair advantage. Importing item builds isn't an unfair advantage because it's information that's already available. I'd send a support ticket to be sure.

If you are this worried about being banned, then you shouldn't use any third party programs.

Riot only bans for programs determined to give unfair advantages, but they have specifically stated that there are no approved third party programs, the judgement about them can change at any time, and all of them are "use at your own risk".

Besides, to become a good player, you should not be using builds in the first place.

i use it. and don't worry, im pretty sure riot emails you in cases like this to ask you to stop using said programs. i used to use mklol for the jungle timers+free skins and months later i got an email telling me to stop using the program or i'd be banned, stopped using it, had no problems. plus it just tells you builds, you could make item sets copied off champion.gg just as easily so its definitely not a problem

My guess is that Championify uses the information provided by Riot for approved 3rd party programs to create those item sets, making it just fine.

Assume it is.

Why don't you just have the build open in a window?
