Refusing to work with the rest of the team: reportable?

Been in my promos 3 times today, and each time the deciding loss came from a cc heavy support (Sona, Leona), who lategame decided they were effective split-pushers (they weren't). So while the entire enemy team is barreling down mid and crushing turrets, my team has no opportunity to counter-engage because the support is wave-clearing minions that are nowhere close to a turret top lane. Both times a clutch ult from the support would have given us the chance we need to take them out in a full teamfight and turn the game around for a win.

To sum this up, I feel that if a player is intentionally ignoring their teammates, especially if they are in a role or champ built around helping the team, can be considered a form of griefing and throwing. Would reports be justfied against these players in cases like this? In both cases they never communicated with the rest of the team through chat or pings or anything.

You can report anything you want, literally. nothing will happen unless the player consistently gets reported.

In my own opinion, any champion can split push really, but the problem is just that your elo has a low understanding in what moments are good to split push. The problem isn't that a player is ignoring calls, the problem is just that your ELO has a certain skill level, that clearly doesn't match your expectations.

But no this behavior is, and should never be, reportable/banable. Tactics can sometimes work, and sometimes don't work. In their mind, they're not ignoring your calls, they're trying to use the distraction of a teamfight to steal an extra turret. Are you suggesting they should be punished for taking initiative?

I'm guilty of doing that as a support.

Sometimes my mind is thinking about a baron play that will happen 2 minutes later, but for that to happen, I'd need to prep the wave. At the same time, my laners don't seem to know how to prep the wave, so I end up prepping the wave myself.

Sometimes that has cost us the game, sometimes that has won us the game. But as a support, it seems to hurt the team more often, so I've learnt to ask the laners to help prep the wave instead, while I shake my head seeing that they prepped the wave wrong.

So is it punishable when I'm off doing something else away from the team? Ultimately it depends on intent. Just like feeding itself isn't a punishable offense, but intentionally feeding is .
