Griefing in an ARAM of all things should be an instant suspension -> ban

It's very telling when your teammate is so tilted he can't even stand 8 minutes in being behind before wanting to throw in the towel. Saying "onto the next one" or anything similar should also be grounds for immediate suspension because it shows upfront you have no intention of winning the game.

Play the stupid 18-minute ARAM out. If you can't last that long, I fail to see why we should allow that person to continue playing a MOBA. It ain't COD-paced.

Griefing in any game mode is a 14-day ban on first offense and perma on next.

The problem is detecting that they were greifing beyond a reasonable doubt among millions of games.

No. I think griefing in ARAM should be the least important thing to monitor. Yes it should be monitored and they should be banned, but why ARAM specifically? I think ranked is much more important, and i rarely play ranked.

Dude, the only mode where playing out every game makes sense is ranked, and that's for the following two reasons: the reward for winning and the loss for losing is the same magnitude, so any chance of winning is worth pushing for and that how much you enjoy the game is less important than actually scoring a win. With ARAM or normals it makes no sense to keep painfully grinding for a highly unlikely win when you could already be having fun playing for a much more likely one.

Always an excuse, huh? If it's not "it's just a norms," should this happen in ranked they'd then go "it's just a game." Read carefully people. I'm placing emphasis on ARAM because it's such a short game mode, and it's an easy way to weed out some of the problem players when they can't even last that long.
