Adding Phone Numbers to League Accounts

Who would be interested in Riot attaching phone numbers to league accounts. (hear me out before you immediately shout "NO WAY!!") I know many of my fellow league members have multiple accounts, smurfs and the like. However, I find because of the loosely based account creation. People can constantly keep creating accounts however many times they like. I have been fighting my way up the ranks for years now and the number 1 thing I find are trolls and people who want to stay in a rank because of friends (which I have no problem with). My main problem is because league accounts can be created with no actual accountability to the account. People act however they want, get reported enough that they become banned from their account for X amount of time. So they create another account and continue on as nothing has happened. Granted many of us put money into this game for skins, champions, emotes, etc; but none of those go away when your banned, they are simply withheld for a small amount of time.

I am proposing that Riot starts to add a phone number verification system to League of Legends so prevent people from creating multiple accounts so they can troll and be a nuisance to players who genuinely care about their gaming experience. Since most of us have smurf accounts for whatever reason. Be it playing with less skilled friends or supporting a rookie up through the ranks. I don't think people need more than 3 accounts at MOST.

I DO NOT WANT TO BAN SMURF ACCOUNTS. I just want to make sure that people are using accounts for the reason the game was created. To enjoy playing a game that I enjoy with people around the world. Not greifing people because its fun and has no consequence.

I hope you understand what I am trying to get at here. I am sure there are many others that stand with me in this position of being tired of feeders and trolls who don't care if you report them because they have 15 accounts to cycle through so they never actually receive any punishment for being a bad player.

I have enjoyed this game for years, but recently I have found that the people playing the game are becoming less and less respectful of the game and the game creators. I am sure this is not the reason they made the game. I'm guessing they liked the idea of coming together in friendly competition as much as the rest of us. but the lower elos are now filled with people who simply want to throw games for the sake of watching people flame (which can be fun); but the League of Legends punishment system, doesn't punish anyone but those who make 2 or 3 accounts and play to enjoy the game.

This is why I hope you will stand with me and propose Riot to attach phone number verification to League of Legends accounts. To prevent people from creating more than 2 or 3 accounts, and hopefully increase the gaming experience for all of us.
