Inting, toxic troll unbanned after 3 days of inting. I was banned for asking them to be reported...

So in a ranked game we had a support Lux (level 30, heal teleport of course) who proceeded to spend the game taking as much farm from the adc as possible and running it down lane. He then told us to quote "ff and die." Their support and jungle decided to camp me midlane (a lane I had been winning) because their ADC was literally 13/0 and had more damage than every other player put together.

The enemy team then began taunting us "you suck, you guys are terrible" etc.

Without cursing, or insulting their intelligence, I told the other team that if they do not understand how a trolling player can cause our team to lose then they are quote "bad at the game".

I was then reported, all of my honor removed, and received a chat ban. 3 days later, the inting player is continuing to troll ranked games, playing every game as heal/teleport lux, building on-hit, going an average of 0/20, and taking as much farm as possible. They have inted over 20 games so far.

Complaining to Riot support, they refused to reverse my ban, then informed me that they are sorry I got a troll in my game, but "mild negativity" is a bannable offense. And they would get to reviewing the troll in our game (spoiler, of course they still have not.) I repeat, "MILD NEGATIVITY"

Please explain to me riot and community: who is supposed to react with "shot-calling and positive feedback" when they have an inting troll in their game. I repeat, I was banned - inting troll who told us to "ff and die" is literally right now still playing. (20 games of inting...) Me saying "you are bad at the game" "we have a troll, what part of that do you not understand" was banned.

Well I think we're done here. You have perfectly restated Riot's opinion for the forum here. Trolling and telling other players to die is apparently a lesser offense than saying report this player a couple times. I am in fact the griefer here and the harasser, I see the error of my ways. I am ruining the game for everyone by trying my best in each game and reacting with "mild negativity" the third game in a row I get a troll.

Again I would like to point out - that player is not banned.

If i have an inter, I dont ask them to be reported.

I ask them once to stop, I mute them, I report them, I check their match history, and if it shows what you see I submit a ticket.

After asking someone to stop, they are no longer considered a reasonable person, and thus I treat them as I would a crack-head screaming out on the street. I ignore them, and inform those who need to know.

Did you deserve your ban? I personally dont think so, but its in the rules so you gotta deal. As for this lux, like I said, tickets open can help, especially if you do the work for them "look at this lux, she won 1 game of her last 20, building these items, this game did this ect. I suspect this is intentional, if you can look into this id appreciate it, in the mean time I will continue to watch it."

In the last month I wanna say I made 3 reports like that. 2 of the accounts stoped playing the next day, and the third one was dealt with when I added another note a few days later to the same ticket along the lines of "I see this player is still doing this, like this. Hope this information helps!"

  1. This is true. You have a point.
  2. "Report this troll" is not griefing. Nor is it begging. Believe me everyone on my team was saying it.
  3. This was the response from Riot which is extremely ignorant of how the game works. The player was not only feeding their ADC, they were taking the minions/gold from ours. They made it literally impossible to win the game. I cannot win a 3 v 1 camp. There is absolutely nothing that any player could have done to win the game and pardon my french - suggesting that "encouraging positive choices" "warding" and "item choices" could have turned the game around is stupid, downright insulting, and ignorant of how the game works.

The fact is - losing my LP in a troll game is punishment enough. Removing my honor is adding insult to injury.

EDIT - also to point out how fed the enemy ADC was - they sat under tower taking turret aggro, not moving, and the other 4 players on the team combined could not kill her faster than she was life-stealing off of us.

Did post my reform card. Apparently saying "you are bad at the game" and "report this troll" led me to being banned. Inting and writing "ff and die" - which I provided to the riot support along with screenshots did nothing and they are still trolling games this very second. I am presuming I got flagged in the first place for telling the other team that he said "ff and die" - of course the system did not know that I was quoting him. The person that reviewed my account did not care.

This honestly has to be the only game where you can receive punishment without using a curse word, cheating, or ruining the game for your team deliberately. Saying "enjoy your ban" however - the highest of offenses.

I've never understood how stealing cs isn't considered griefing when the lanes that are assigned during champ select assigns who is expected to get the income from the creeps in that lane during the start of the game. Not trying to argue that just makes zero sense if a support has 50 cs and the adc has 75, while the other adc has 115 and support has 5. Things will ALWAYS turn out worse for the adc with less items. Intentionally blowing up waves as a high dps support is griefing and i will continue reporting it as such.

"Ban this troll" a single time regarding a blatant troll is not harassment and not being toxic. Period.

Toxic: capable of causing serious harm to a person's health and well-being.

According to riot it is, because I am banned and he is not. Also what's with this "begging." Saying report this troll once is not "begging"
