Instant Karma- Overhaul the block list- hear me out

Players should be able to Block people not just from chat but from Games (Normals, Treeline, ARAM, etc) Not Ranked- But it could benefit people playing ranked.

Effects: People doing the blocking-

  • Instant relief from having to deal with leavers, trolls, feeders, a@@hats, etc
  • Less Reporting after games if you can just do it yourself
  • You won't block people who are good, because you'll want to be grouped with them. This should stop most abuse
  • You won't block everyone, because it will effect your que time

People being blocked-

  • Longer que times because of their own actions.
    • "I didn't leave my internet dropped out"- That happening 1- 3 times won't effect your gameplay.
  • You won't be paired up with good players, because they will have blocked you for a reason. -Just because Player is not a S rank player people will block me. This could be a concern, but also everyone I have ever played with if you are a decent human being you can suck canal water and they will still play with you. Because it beats getting a troll. Also if we blocked everyone that had a bad day, our que times would suck.
  • Immediate consequences deter dbaggery. (Most crimes get committed because a. hey, i'll never get caught, or b. the consequences are so minor doesn't deter)

Riot

  • Less after action reports.
  • Technically less bans, because the community takes care of it themselves.
  • Less frustration with Riot
  • Happier community spends more $$$.
  • Ability to see amount of blocks a player has.

Ranked

  • Riots ability to see the amount of blocks a player has can then be taken into account when they are reported in ranked. Ex. Dude was majorly feeding, and was riding his team. He also has 175 blocks. Lets throw out a punishment to attempt rehabilitation.

80% of LoL community is bronze, think about it.

The rest 20% is pieces of shit who think they are gods at LoL and that makes this system even shittier than it already is without them.

The concept is great, and your intentions are good...

But this would just encourage someone to keep a public "shit-list" of players to not play with. Which could be used to witch-hunt players.

This would also murder the high elo scene. In the higher elo diamond/master/challenger, it is quite feasible to see some of the same players over and over again due to the small pool to pull players from. Plus, what happens in case of a dodged que? Say Bob, Sam, and Cait are in a lobby. Sam was auto filled support and tries to trade for mid. Bob say no but Sam doesn't care. Sam locks in a champ first and declares "Mid or feed." Cait deciding they don't want to deal with it just dodges. Cait, Bob, and the other two all copied Sam's name and block them. Que pops again 15 seconds later after assigning roles. Bob has the original two randoms from before and 2 new teammates. Sam got filled to support again but no one dodges this time.

Edit:Sam is implied to now be on the opposing team.

It is perhaps an extreme and unlikely scenario but still possible.

The problem with this system is that players could just all block someone and make the game basically unplayable for them. If this is implemented it would mean that players can still block people without cause.

Punish people for being blocked

So, a bunch of people could just block everyone in their games because "haha le ebic trolle"

no thx

How often have you been matched with a toxic player whom you've played with before? Probably just once or twice, and even then most likely because you both insta requeued.

you would have a problem at diamond + tier. so, while i agree with something like this. It should also be limited and stop from happening in either plat+ or diamond+ games.

And before you argue that this is impossible and riot can never code something specific to happen at high elo and something else at lower elo. Autofill used to be a thing at high elo while not so at low elo. I still don't get why they introduced that to plat and below, but whatever, the idea is that its possible
