Duo/Three/Four Queue Reports

When playing in each set of matches you either encounter a solo player or a party of 2,3, or 4 and if that group is particularly salty about being losers they will report you for telling them what the truth is. They are bronze and they are feeding which then they go cry to the reporting system. Now the flaw with the reporting system is that it will react instantly when more than 3 reports are sent in against a player on the same team. What is being purposed is that for players in parties, they only get 1 report representing the whole group against another player or players. And the group must decide unanimously and anonymously like the surrender vote in game with a timer, if the timer depletes then there is no report. How does this benefit?

  1. It will lower the amount of reports that will cause that automatic trigger in the Player Behavior & Moderation System which will decrease the number of unjust chat restriction/loot restrict/other things that would positively make the game much better.
  2. It will stop the number of players who just troll and report another player for flaming them for trolling. Lots of players troll and report the one teammate who does not indulge in the trolling.
  3. It will make reporting much more of a breeze because it will be able to let the players in that particular party decide if it is really worth their time or not.
  4. It will let other players give their opinions on what is a just report and what is unjust, it will be able to be used for study and statistics to show the trend of what behavioral and player modification needs to be as a standard.

Overall this is a new concept that I am throwing out there to create a vote-like report (exactly like the surrender vote) for the players who are in a party to help decrease the number of unjust chat restrictions/loot restrictions that bring the fun out of the game. Everyone has their limitations to this and has every right to criticize what is being purposed. If you think this is a good idea just comment below. VVVVVV If you think it is a bad idea and waste of time comment below. VVVVVV Any adjustments that could help make this a better concept for Riot to implement into their system also comment below. VVVVVV

Yours Truly XOXO

Well, that's just blatantly untrue. A single report flags a game; multiples are redundant.

Riot has stated before, when people addressed this concern about the IFS and people abusing the reporting system, that when people are queued up together if they all send in reports against the same player, it doesn't "count" the same as multiple reports from non-grouped players. I'm not sure on the mathematics of how the algorithms work, but basically, they set the system up so that groups can't gang up on the poor randoms that get stuck with them.

It also takes much more than 3 reports to trigger and IFS punishment for most people.
