Smurf hacked and banned - Help needed
Hi,
I just want to know where I stand with a ban my smurf received. So here's the story from my POV. My smurf was created in late 2015, was levelled to 30 etc and had a decent bit of RP purchased on the account. I stopped playing league for about 1.5 years with the odd login (to my main, not smurf). I have started playing again as I am enjoying the game again now.
I logged into one of my email accounts yesterday (just so happened to be the one my smurf is tied to) and I notice an email from Riot saying my smurf was banned for use of 3rd party programs or w/e (email from the 10th Jan 2019 - yes it took me this long to see the email, not exactly an email account I use for much, just has a few accounts for different things tied to it). I tried to login to the smurf account on the website and couldn't get in (someone had changed my password). I recovered the account via email so that I could raise a support ticket to investigate the ban and compare IP information for logins between my main (I actually play on) and my smurf (which I personally haven't played a game on for almost 2 years) to which Riot replied with a fat nope. How can they refuse to investigate or at least acknowledge that the smurf has not been played on by me for such a period of time.
I want to know where I stand with everything I purchased on the account, because as far as I am concerned, I have done literally nothing wrong other than not logging into my smurf for a long time, I have lost my investment because someone was able to get into my account. I am totally fine with Riots zero tolerance stance on cheating and fully support it. Prior to this, neither account has ever had so much as chat restriction since they were created.
I don't really care about the account itself, it's the fact that I purchased stuff on the account that I have now lost. I get that I am responsible for safeguarding my own account, but what is Riot support for if they can't help with a cut and dry case like this. I am waiting for them to send login logs from both accounts so I can prove it myself, but I shouldn't have to.
I just get the feeling the support staff don't really care enough to have a look into it. If they refuse to unban the account, the least they could do is credit my main with the value of RP that had been purchased on the account or something because if they don't, I am left out of pocket. If I were to chargeback the RP from my smurf I would probably lose my main too, so not at all sure where I stand.
