Hextech Crafting Ineligible to earn loot because of past actions

So listen Riot. Some of us have bad days and say some bad words during games, so we serve a punishment. We serve our punishment of chat bans, but punishing people for a chat ban that they got over a year ago so that they can never use the hextech crafting system is absolutely absurd. This cannot be permanent, can it?

That's what happens when you are dumb enough to think a machine is a good way to moderate human interactions.

It's not permanent. Once you reform it will allow you to earn rewards.

From the sound of it you already have a reform card or something, so I would suggest making a support ticket to see if there's a mistake.

Here is a great solution...

Ready?

Chat MUTE yourself!

OMG! Something horrible happened, and I am tempted to flame others... oh no I cant. I chat MUTED my self, oh well at least I still get to play.

Oh no! The trollbaits out there are flaming me, but by some miracle of anti-troll magic I cant see it because chat is MUTED.

I have the same problem. I have been doing good recently and have been annoyed as to why i don't get my loot. I got chat restricted once about 3 months ago, but it still says I'm illegible to receive my awards, and it doesn't even show my score for the game i just played. Will this be permanent?

Actually, it is based on you on an individual level. Though the punishment itself has been cleared, the loot system goes off of our toxicity reading of the account itself. As such, this account will not be eligible to receive loot again until that hidden level finishes resetting through your continued effort at reform.

Aside from that, it takes both a function of time and games played where no toxicity is exhibited to reduce, and effectively reset, the hidden "toxicity level" of an account.

That said, as each account is unique, even with a hypothetical query of perfect behavior I would not be able to calculate how long that reset would take. The point in cases such as these as the destination is not as important as the journey. Stay focused on being positive in your matches and when you start getting loot you will know you have made it.

This what they told me when I pressed them on it.

Hmmm..... What do i have to do, to get rid of this "ineligible actions" message, and actually start earning rewards? Should i just keep on playing until i can get rewards? or what? A reply would be nice.

I innocently got chat restrictions and a 14 day ban I wasn't the one using my account I borrowed whittymundan my account and he have it to his brother attack on osu and they used to play it I logged in one day and saw that I had a 10 match chat restriction I played all the matches and then logged put the next 2 days after I logged on and saw I got 14 day ban I was furious because I wasn't the one who said nothing bad and now I'm being punished I changed my password and now is in full control of my account I wish riot would remove that punishment from my account it's killing me

I don't play DotA2 at all, but understanding how their behavioural system works, I would think Riot would have the brains to implement something similar. If you're not familiar with the DotA report system, basically you have a limited number of reports each month, very few, but they hold more weight. Reporting someone should be an act of, "You are the most toxic person I've played with all month, so I'm using my report on you for being a douche."

That heavily mitigates report spamming, which is the leading cause of getting banned in the first place, not even any evidence of toxicity.

Would be cool if a Riot Staff Member would comment here a more clear answer for those of us who have served punishment months prior and are still ineligible.

Rofl, I've lost like fucking 50+ sources of loot after getting SS's for a chat ban i got two weeks ago, the fuck?

It really would be great to see a post from an admin or something on this...I've been off ban/chat restriction for MONTHS now and still remain ineligible for loot...Honestly its ridiculous.

I think riot ahould give us a little slack for raging over a game because i bet when they play league with random people because i bet they get a little bit mad when they just go and feed your lane.. Thats wat happened to me this vi came and fed this yasuo 4 kills and i was already having a horrible day so i did say some things and now i regret it... I dont think they should take away the privalage to earn loot forever because i have recently gotten an s or two and i didnt get anything but i understand if you dont get loot from your friends or something... Riot i hope you take your time to actually listen to the comunity and help us out a bit
