Yeah so this stupid f*ing person Gifted their account (username removed) some skins. I reported it to riot after the locked my account due to suspicious activity. This(username removed) kid is still play daily after half a month of no action. They said they can't tell me how they will act, but you can see someones account and on op.gg if they are playing. So thanks riot for not protecting your clients. This is dumb I even spoke to someone on the live riot support line, and gave them the persons name, and they just get to keep playing even though they should lose their privilege to play. Let me clarify, this person must have been someone I added at some point. But after(username removed) was gifted they were removed from my friends list, and than they proceeded to message one of the other people on my friends list and I quote "Hi. what kind of skin u love ?" And the only person gifted was was removed from my friends list. Sorry I did not clarify this. I have waited over half a month, and it is with out a doubt this person seems pretty incriminating. I understand not wanting to ban someone out right, but I have the right to be upset this is theft and it is a crime and I get to sit here with my thumb up my A** and not aloud to now the person who committed the crime, even though it is my right to take them to court. Instead i get reimbursed RP. And told it is OK They will handle it.

  1. When financial transactions and things of this nature are involved, you are straying into federal territory - because if they really hacked you and gifted you, there's multiple potential felonies involved. As such, Riot is limited by any potential investigation (which would possibly not want to "tip off" the person by banning them).

  2. You have no clue if the person who hacked your account owns the account they gifted to. For all you know, someone added some OTHER random innocent player, just in the hopes of getting them banned along with your hacking. They get a two for one, in other words. Riot isn't so dumb as to possibly let that happen without being certain.

  3. Sure, it's your right to take anything to court. You are free to file a lawsuit against the player, and a lawyer can advise you on how to word it for the court and get a subpoena for Riot to release information about the player if the court deems it credible. Feel free to do so.

Tbh dude as stated in the last thread, the other guy could actually be innocent with someone being salty/ someone could gift something then try and ban anyone.

Realistically though you've already implied one thing by posting this:

you already had your RP on the account.

If it's that then riot will NOT ban it anyway, as it's simply solve by revoking the skin and refunding you your RP

You also have to have someone on your friends list two days before you can gift.

In a lot of cases, not even the real polices with real authorities can just willy nilly ask for people identity on the net without a subpoena of some kind or nilly willy search people without probable cause. Who are you with what authority to demand to know the identity of that person? If you claim to be hacked, gift me something, you get to request whatever real account data Rito has on me??? That's all kind of questionable legality (or publicity) shits that would rain down on Rito.
