So I just got chat-restricted for the below game, and I'm more just curious than anything. I honest to god don't think anything that I said was really toxic in the slightest, so I'm assuming I got reported simply for the amount that I said. I'll freely admit that I'm someone who can get drawn into arguments if people are saying shit and that's what happened here. I just wasn't aware that it was considered a punishable offense by riot simply to talk to much. If it is, well, fair enough I guess. I wouldn't necessarily agree with that policy, but it's their company. My main questions to y'all are: Do you think it was something besides the volume? If not, do y'all know where it specifies that volume is something you can be punished for? And third, is there any way if I can at least see if some of the other people got punished lol. I've added annotations to help provide context that I guess you'll have to take my word on being truthful but that's the best I can do. This was norms btw, so I wasn't taking it overly seriously.

Idk. Yeah I talked a lot, but none of it was particularly toxic. The game was legitimately over when I said it was, and I didn't keep yelling about it too much. Only started 2 surrender votes (one at ~20, one at ~30.).

You spend a lot of time talking about how it's over and you want to forfeit, and the second half of your chat log was pretty much devoted to flaming and arguing with the Amumu. Now that your chat is restricted, you'll have to make a choice between chat messages like "I thought veig was going mid when I picked syndra" (acceptable) and ones like "do you need a shovel for this hole you keep digging for your account amumu?" (not acceptable).

I'm usually one to go through a log and point out the toxic moments but this really isn't bad. You weren't positive to be sure but this does not seem like it should have been punished, especially if this was the only log given. Contact player support for some clarity maybe?

You were a negative teammate. Who knows what you said in your previous games.

Everyone needs to reminded. Keywords are logged. I shouldn't have to point them out to you.

Typing a lot is not forbidden. It may be annoying for the others but not forbidden as long as you remain neutral or positive.

There is no punishment based on volume of typing, its based on signs of negativity/toxicity/griefing. The first half of your chat logs is ok, but not the second half.

The game doesn't want you to communicate with your team, that's why you were never given the tools to do so. Typing on a keyboard prevents you from playing the game. It's just something that sucks that we have to live with.
